Frankly, Trey Gowdy has proven beyond doubt that Obama’s entire administration lied in the most contemptuous fashion towards the American public for the sole selfish sake of his political career. Obama and Hillary lied with venom. Their utter contempt for the parents of the American heroes who died at Benghazi became apparent when they lied to them over the caskets of their children.
This, along with their stumbling incompetence and cowardly desertion of those Americans in serious danger will forever be etched into the gravestone of history.
Hillary cannot defend it, she is already perceived as a liar, and now Gowdy found the smoking gun and tied it around her neck like a millstone. An email to Chelsea, a telephone call to the Egyptian foreign minister telling the truth while the rest of the world received lies.
Obama’s legacy is tarnished as well.

Gowdy is the Best. I don’t know why some FReepers on this board want to denigrate him and his committee. Gowdy is my hero. My son lives in his state and I keep asking him to look him up, but SC is a very segmented state and my son lives in a district on the other side of the state. My son is in Joe Wilson’s (”you lie) district. Believe it or not, they hear very little about Gowdy there. My son is in a career where he can’t afford to engage in politic, so he can’t get involved statewide and has no reason to meet Gowdy.
‘Tis a shame because HIS son is angling for an appointment to either Annnapolis or the AF Academy. He would do well to volunteer on Gowdy’s campaign team. I guess he’ll have to do with Wilson’s patronage, if he can get it. LOL.
Perhaps a couple of witnesses were absent.
For example, that would be the generals or the admiral who wanted to send help. What government official wanted to send Marines? Who wanted to send air support? And who in the White House, or the State Department, said, “Don’t.”

This election is about Independent voters, and they do care about being lied to. Yes - the Dem hordes are all-in for voting themselves the treasury and that could very well lead to the demise of America. Until then, election by election, if the tide is turned, and property rights are saved, the rule of law is upheld, and corruption in government is punished then America can live to fight another day.
The oligarchy now controls this once great Republic. They are not going to allow any real reversals of their powers. You only think we have rule of law. For putrid pondscum like Hillary, it is rule of oligarchy. She will be shunted to the side if she is no longer useful to them and not until.
