That is what I read between the lines also. I.e., the 'strangulation charge' is B.S. He was trying to yank her scarf off, and since her scarf is around her neck, it tugged on her neck.
Charge the guy with assault and being a first-class A-hole, but all the other stuff is crap intended to beat people down to be P.C. at all times.
This, of course, is a bad example - because the accused clearly was acting out of bounds, but this over-charging and claims of hate crimes and strangulation is just trying to get anyone from even looking cross-eyed at a muslim.
Had it been a muslim man and an infidel woman it would be called a cultural diversity incident that is progress in fundamentally changing America.
You know you have to rape, murder, mutilate, and consume a white person in broad daylight in a public shopping district in order for them to even consider a 10 year sentence.
A while back I read a report that the average time served in Washington, DC for murder was 7.5 years. The average time served for armed robbery was 5.5 years.
I related news, authorities are baffled by the increase in the number of convenience store clerks being shot & killed during armed robberies.
