NBC: Naturally Broadcasting Communism. This early in radio history? Wow.
Read up on it, it's very interesting. This is just a small slice of the radical leftism you could find on the airwaves in the 1930's. The call letters of WCFL in Chicago stand for Chicago Federation of Labor, the original owners of the station. They broadcast radical Socialist labor opinion on a daily basis. Father Charles Coughlin, a radical Social Justice labor priest from Detroit, had a weekly show on CBS and had tens of millions of followers. He even spooked FDR who pulled out an early version of the Fairness Doctrine to force him off the airwaves. We had a minor-league version, Father James Cox, doing similar things here on KQV.

Those that started Socialism and Communism both have, in history, looked upon the Negro as a useful idiot, to be discarded or dispatched when no longer of usage.

(Yeah, it's probably sarcasm...)

Socialism is already here and has been for a century. That’s why we’re in the disastrous shape we’re in now.
