Trump: ‘I would rather run against Hillary’ than Biden ("because her record is so bad.”)
The Hill ^ | October 21, 2015 | Neetzan Zimmerman

GOP front-runner Donald Trump took to his favorite medium Wednesday afternoon to tweet his response to the news that Vice President Joe Biden had opted against running for president in 2016.

"I think Joe Biden made correct decision for him & his family,” Trump told his millions of followers. "Personally, I would rather run against Hillary because her record is so bad.”

"This is good. Biden would have been the go-to for those on the left that feel like they have to hold their nose to vote for Hillary. There might be a reversal of what we saw in 2012, where this time, a good chunk of their base will stay home. Not that I think Trump needs that to happen. I’m betting he gets a ton of cross-over support from the dorman blue dogs out there. And I know they still exist."

That's possible, if they don't see the following.

Donald Trump mentioned 'terrific' Warren Buffett when he was asked about potential cabinet picks
Business Insider
Colin Campbell
Aug. 13, 2015
"Trump also said billionaire businessman Henry Kravis, former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, and "Carl" — the business magnate Carl Icahn, if Trump's past statements are any indication — are the sort of people who could serve in his administration."

Criticizing Hillary is a good thing.

Now and every day until a day after the election, then prosecute her.

Since you say Trump’s effort is “obviously” phony.......does that make the FReepers who support him stupid and flat out dummies, (HOW can they NOT understand!!!?), for not seeing through such an “obviously” phony effort By Trump? Sounds that way Nick.

Trump has a talent/near-genius for getting inside people’s heads and under their skin. Hillary is amazingly susceptible to this type of maneuver, given how long she’s been married to Bill. I.e.: normally a person married to a narcissist either divorces or else eventually masters a degree of emotional coolness that enables them to detach from the narcissistic dynamic. Hillary never has. She still screeches and melts down if she’s pushed too hard on certain issues.

Trump will play her like a fiddle.

Biden’s record is just as bad. He warmed a seat in Congress for decades, and has now warmed the VP seat for going on 8 long, long years.

Remember when Biden told Katie Couric that “when the market crashed in 1929, President Roosevelt went on TV to reassure the American people.” Couric just sat there nodding her head.

In Biden’s debate with Palin, he said that France and the US had teamed up and driven Hezballah out of Lebanon. Palin didn’t seem to catch that bit of Biden idiocy.

Then there’s his plagiarism in college, and wasn’t he caught cheating on his exams in college, too?

What makes you think Trump’s staff has not already combed through all the Clinton skeletons in preparation for the big fight.

I liked Kilroy.

I liked Paradise Theater better, though ... (”Go, Sparky, Go!”)

Biden would have been more fun. But then, it’d be wrong to run against someone who’s somewhat not all there.

Biden’s worst lie is the one he’s told over and over and over AFTER being corrected multiple times: i.e.: that a drunk driver killed his first wife. Alcohol played no part in the tragic accident. The children of the other driver involved in the accident cry/go through emotional hell when Biden claims their dad, “Drank his lunch,” and them went out and DUIed Biden’s wife. Yet Biden simply will not stop repeating this LIE.

Nothing. Trump openly admits that he gives money to everyone. Cost of doing business and the root of the problem.

What makes you think that I didn’t think that Trump’s staff had thought about thinking about the same things that you and I were probably thinking. Actually, it was my way of giving Alamo Girl’s hard work a mention. I bet you weren’t thinking that I was thinking that were ya? Stop thinking about other people’s thinking. You’ll give yourself a hernia.

Fair enough Nick.....but since Trump has an absolutely incredible amount of support here on FR, from a very large number of long time FReepers.

Count me as one of them.

if I’m a businessman in New York building billions of dollars worth of real estate I donate to every Governor, Senator, mayor, mailman and cab driver no matter what party if I think they might answer the phone when I need them.. is that not hard to understand?..

Because Trump supporters find facts the most objectionable is facts.

What we really need in a president is someone manly enough to take on Rosie O'Donnell in a Twitter feud.
