Paris Climate Conference is likely to fail
americanthinker.com ^ | 10/21/2015 | Fred Singer

COP-21, the 21st Conference of the Parties (to the Global Climate Treaty) is convening in Paris (November 30 to December 11, 2015) to try to impose global restrictions on the emission of the greenhouse (GH) gas carbon dioxide. The usual cast of characters will show up -- delegates from nearly 200 nations, who have made a lifetime career out of the climate business, plus some 15,000 hangers-on. We think they will fail to reach an effective international agreement -- for a variety of reasons: Important developing countries have other priorities; scandals are brewing and may flare up; and the climate itself is not cooperating. But the media will portray Paris as a huge success, trying to burnish the environmental-climate legacy of President Barack Obama.

I'm still hoping a record breaking blizzard hits gay paris during this nearly two week suck fest. If algore's going, it's probably nearly a sure bet. So, what are the odds that Fred Singer is arrested for his doubting this climate differentiation scam? Stronger than the chances that the hildebeast is arrested for actual crimes she's commited?

Paris Climate Conference fails: We’ve all agreed to cripple ourselves by cutting off our right arm and left leg because 97% of global appendage “scientists” agreed this is the only way to save ourselves from global appendage warming. You go first. No, you go first. No, you go first. No, ...

These people who are staunch advocates of man-made global warming actually know it is BS...They make so much money on it that they continue it forever...These “conferences are just a way for them to get together, spend some of our money on whores and liquor and tell each other how good they are at bilking people (in private, of course). Then they get together for the fawning media and really seriously, with really serious looks on their faces, tell the world how smart they are and what they KNOW has to be done to “save the planet”...

What utter frauds they are...and we continue to let them get away with it...

I’m cynical enough, to think that these thousands of professional climate change people and hangers on, are just going to Paris to party and have a good time. Speeches will be made, seminars conducted, lavish dinners and parties will be held, and nothing concrete will be accomplished.

A failure because China and India will not clean up their acts - if they even bother to agree to do so - or if the noble idealists even demand that they do.

Or because it is the height of folly to think puny man can control the sun or should wipe out co - the ‘oxygen’ of all plant life.

The self proclaimed "Climate Scientists" number is 79, recently 2 of them have switched to our side so only 75 (or 77%) support global warming/ climate change.

Yeah, I always wondered why there should be a push for a reduction in the elements that provide plants the ability to produce O2. Kind of self defeating. If the erf savers wish, they should volunteer to remove themselves from the equation. Otherwise, if you don’t want to put up, then shut up. Not very dedicated are they?

Hmm...gotta wonder what a first-class ticket to Paree costs these days in terms of carbon footprint? How much deadly carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere from all the champagne bottles? The grifters aren’t ever going to let this scam go, it’s way too cushy.

It's not about cutting CO2. It's about buying "carbon credits" from non-industrial countries.

The fear over climate change is nothing more than a mechanism to build popular support for a massive transfer of wealth from rich nations to poor ones.
