Agree. Sharpton used this as an excuse to keep the burn of hatred alive, otherwise he would of and should of been long done and over with. His kind of hatred against people of color in particular white, should of been refuted by most,but instead he played on their emotions of everyone owes them something for being black.Completely opposite of MLK message. I have so many friends that see the Jacskon and Sharptons of our era as just old bitter agitators

Haven’t trusted Carson from early on; especially after his comments regarding gun ownership.
This is just Carson trying to avoid a confrontation with or about Sharpton, while at the same time stating that he doesn't share Sharpton’s views. What he said is very generic, and is what most of us believe anyway (e.g. equal opportunity, etc.). Carson's not my candidate of choice, but I would be perfectly happy to vote for him should he get the nomination. I think his central belief is that everyone should have the opportunity to work hard and achieve based on their own efforts and merits. He's in most ways the anti-Sharpton, but also knows that picking a fight with Sharpton at this point would be a harmful distraction.
Same goals as Sharpton? I wouldn’t vote for anyone that said that!
