For a goof, in our senior year in high school a few of my smartass friends and I ran one of our friends as a Chairman Mao Communist and made posters.

We weren’t communists. We just thought it was funny.

Our “candidate” won. ...but shortly after our victory, the principal overturned the election and gave it to the establishment candidate - a responsible young lady turns out.

We laugh about it today 30 years later.

"The easy thing would have been to announce the results and move on. I intentionally did not choose the easy way because this is so important.” The outcome was "not okay," even though it was freely determined by the diverse students themselves?

The woman is a fool, whatever ability for rational thought she might have had was replaced by political correctness and the general leftist indoctrination and brainwashing that has become the norm in many parts of the US.

In a sane society she'd be removed from her position immediately. Even most of the kids probably realize that now, but their 'education' is not yet complete.
