I didn't write that Garrison only called one witness, I wrote that he had only one witness that testified about the conspiracy revolving around Clay Shaw. That man was Perry Russo. The prosecutorial misconduct committed by Garrison in using hypnotism, and drugs to elicit testimony disqualifies the nutjob from any sense of authority.

Garrison was a Democrat hack, by the way.

Report of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the U.S. House of Representatives

C. The Committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. The Committee is unable to identify the other gunman or the extent of the conspiracy.

“1. The timeline relied on by the NRC report and by Thomas is inaccurate.

2. Both the “hold everything” and the “you want me” crosstalk alignments demonstrate that the suspect impulses happen too late to be the assassination gunshots.

3. There is no evidence that the Audograph machine that recorded channel II ran continuously in the first few minutes after the shooting, and evidence indicates that it did stop. Because the Audograph stopped, later instances of crosstalk cannot be used to align the suspect impulses on channel I.

4. There is no statistical significance of 95% or higher for a shot from the grassy knoll. There is persuasive evidence that BRSW/WA simply found a match to the speech pattern that exists at the same location on the recording.”

"Yes, that is what the government says,,,isn’t it?"

That is what the evidence says.

"I have no doubt LHO was taking shots at him that day. My only question is if he was alone."

The evidence is of three shots from Oswald's window in the depository. No others.

"C. The Committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. The Committee is unable to identify the other gunman or the extent of the conspiracy."

The sole evidence of this supposed conspiracy was the "acoustic evidence" introduced at the last minute and later debunked.

I guess you don’t know that the House conclusion were based on acoustical evidence that has since been debunked.

There will ALWAYS be a debunking, a denial, a loss of credibility, an ignoring. As for example, all the people who were gathered in Dallas the night before the assassination: Nixon, Bush, etc. As one researcher told me, everyone in government knew about the hit except JFK. I suppose he was exaggerating to make a point.

Did you see the You Tube video of the secret service guy protesting as he was told to stand away from JFK’s auto when they approached Dealy Plaza? There are so many unexplained things out there.

Conspiracists tend to rely on a lot of bad information, which you are demonstrating here. Most of the things you can go an cite from conspiracy sources are junk. Old stories that were never true and have even been disproven many times, but never die and keep being repeated.

NIXON? NIXON! Now you’ve pulled the brass ring! Mention Tricky Dick and the case is closed!

Within a few years, radical ideas and revolutionary leaders -- Marx, Lenin, Mao, and Castro among them -- enjoyed a greater vogue in the US than at any previous time in our history, converting college students by the thousands to an anti-American, anti-capitalist creed. Soon, those students were taking over campuses and joining protest movements in support of a host of radical and revolutionary causes.

Kinda like islam is now in vogue (in some circles) so soon after 9/11

"I really appreciate your all-encompassing, absolute proof on everything, about everything. Thank you."

Back at ya.

By the way, if you want to insist on a conspiracy it's up to you to produce evidence that proves one. And no, "questions" are not evidence.

“By the way, if you want to insist on a conspiracy it’s up to you to produce evidence that proves one. And no, “questions” are not evidence.”

My statement yesterday was that it is inconceivable that someone could believe that Lee Harvey Oswald could actually pull that assassination off by himself, even if he had advance personal knowledge of the parade route.

Prove the conspiracy now, in this little box, after thousands of books have been written, and some of them actually knew what they were writing about?

Does everyone have to amass legal evidence for you that proves Barack Obama conspires against the United States before you will accept it?

Is it your default position to believe everything the government says?

But, those are questions and you are too pure to ask questions.

It is not my responsibility to prove a damn thing to you.

JFK was assassinated on my 15th birthday. Even then I saw how this horrific event was being exploited and turned by liberals into class warfare against those “who just aren’t our kind of people”; i.e., gun owners.

The stereotypical gun owner in the aftermath of the assassination was a Southern white male & possible Klan member who hated blacks and distrusted the Federal government.

“Bitter clingers”, anyone? Look up the 1970 film “Joe” about a hippie-hating bigot who made Archie Bunker look like George McGovern.

And yes, name brand high quality firearms cost a heck of a lot less in the 60’s but skyrocketed in the 1970’s until Ronald Reagan lifted the ban on import of surplus military firearms in 1983.

So here we are, decades later. Liberals still want to disarm us & take away our guns, but now they’re pretty evenly matched. Mike Wallace is still dead.

"Extent" should read "existence". There was no conspiracy, at least no evidence of one.

Those of us who watched friends deteriorate in the 9/11 truther nonsense saw in real time how normal good people can be suckered by conspiracy kookiness. JFK assassination theories are more like a religion than a set of ideas, much like 9/11 trutherism.

Luckily Buliosi's book gave rational people the answers they needed.
