Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump predicted Monday that there will be a ratings bonanza for “Saturday Night Live” when he hosts the program next month, saying the show’s organizers are too smart to give in to a budding movement to get him off the air.
“Frankly, I think the ratings are going to be through the roof,” Mr. Trump said on “Fox and Friends.” “[SNL executive] Lorne Michaels is a very smart guy; NBC are very smart people.”
“If they want to do a show with a third of the ratings, they might do that,” Mr. Trump said when asked if they were going to drop him. “No, I don’t see that at all.”
America’s Voice, a leading Hispanic advocacy group, and MoveOn.org, a liberal advocacy group, have launched a petition for NBC to drop Mr. Trump from his scheduled Nov. 7 appearance, citing his “insulting remarks” about Mexican immigrants. Mr. Trump said such groups are “out for themselves,” that he’s leading in polls among Hispanics, and that he employs thousands of Hispanics.

Probably. NBC is still broadcast television and under the authority of the FCC.
Maybe they'll let Hillary host the following week, a thought that I'm certain scares her witless.
Haven’t watched SNL in years, but I’ll be taping it that night (yes, the old VCR will be cookin’)
justin bieber had pretty good ratings, too, doesn’t make him qualified to be president.
If he's on it will be huge ratings. I might even watch SNL for the first time in ages.
If the Hispanics get their way and his SNL show is cancelled it will be huge publicity for him for the rest of the election and beyond.
IIRC the week Sarah Palin was on it was very popular. Although it seemed to boost tina fey’s career though. Coulda done without that.
Yes they will, just like any T.V. station he goes on, like any venue he hosts....people love “The Donald” that’s why they want to see him....

Yep....Trumps ratings will be through the roof!!! Methinks, SNL & NBC knows that the country is changing radically for the better!!! I believe that Trump will be the nexy POTUS...and he will forever change America for the better...for all Americans!!!

Side note: anyone else remember Chevy Chase dumping a bowl of popcorn on Trump's head on SNL years ago?? (Yes, I'm that old.)
I’ve never ever watched Saturday Night Live and never will .From ads I’ve seen on TV it looks like amateur hour
