Free speech is now a crime. It won’t be long before political association and free exercise of certain religions are criminalized as well. The question will be where is the tipping point of Americans’ willingness to live under a fascist regime?

It’s odd how different states handle license plates.
In Washington state we must purchase the place - but it becomes ours. They also have a mandated life-cycle for plates so when we’re obliged to replace them most people just toss the old plates.
I have a box full of them.
BTW: I would never enrich the bass turds by buying personalized plates - especially ones that some bureaucratic fascist could take away from me.
Maybe everybody should cover their cars with Confederate flags, decals, and bumper stickers. Force the precious "offended" people to see the flag far more than they would have had to on the license plates.
I dealt with some affirmative action people at the DMV.They were all arrogant idiots but the winner was the fat black woman that yelled at me loudly that a decade is NOT ten years!
It was Nikki Haley who in her hysterical rants accused the flag as causing the killings. Her hatred for our history is obvious and is promoting others go after a battle flag. It won’t stop with a battle flag. I would not be surprised if the governors of Virginia and SC will go after the US flag next.

Oh, you’re absolutely right about that. We’re on the slippery slope now and this is just the beginning.
No one displaying the flag should be considered “guilty” of anything or treated as a would be instigator. We are supposed to be presumed innocent before being PROVEN guilty and deprived on any rights.

It is the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia, not the official flag of the CSA. The South had many battle flags. As far as it “belonging to slave holding democrats”, the democrats of the 19th Century were the republicans of the 20th Century. Small government, states rights. The republicans were the party of big government when Lincoln was in control. If Lincoln were alive today he would be a leftist democrat. Why on earth do you think democrats love him so?
I would only buy vanity plates to put on some non-descript metalic blue-grey 2005 Toyota Camry... if they let me have the plate number “I5OS10”. I may even affix a COEXIST bumper sticker as a further camouflage measure.
Worse comes to worse they could get a new plate and put this one in the window and put all kinds of confederate flag stickers/bumper stickers all over the back of the car and window. In fact one of those see-through screens with flag showing outside the window would be great.
