You get one real choice, and one dream choice. Vote!

My dream choice would be Tom McClintock. Don’t know a lot about Webster, but he seems OK. Has he supported shutdowns? Where does he stand on amnesty? I need to know more.

What’s Marsha Blackburn’s stance on immigration reform?
When the rats oppose her, we could expose their “war on women”.

If they insists on it being a House member (although rules don’t require it), I would like Louie Gohmert, Thomas Massie, Raul Labrador, Justin Amash or Tom McClintock.

He was my (Baptist) Sunday school teacher in upper high school and some time after, and my role model. I remember him as visionary, and perhaps a bit too quiet for some. In Congress, he seems to be pushing for allowing members to put forward and discuss ideas, over the crafting of a bill that cannot be changed and is rammed through.
“Webster is campaigning to become the next speaker on the platform that declares the rank-and-file in Congress are tired of the power games played by House leadership, sacrificing meaningful participation from the rank-and-file in order to keep them in line.”

He’s well rounded and basically just a good, honest, God fearing man with steely determination, smarts and not a small dash of charisma thrown in for good measure.

...my question is, Has anyone other than someone from the house fraternity been elected speaker? No. And nobody outside of the House ever will be elected Speaker.
