So now that we have another trophy on the wall (and a fine addition it is!), who are you supporting for the next Speaker?

You get one real choice, and one dream choice. Vote!

A year ago Napolitano would have been great. But I’m just not sure I can trust anyone from Fox News anymore.

But I could see him on a high court somewhere, but I don’t think the Supreme Court. See para #1.

The Nuge would be great... but I don’t think he’d want to subject himself to herding cats in Congress.

Unfortunately, I’m convinced we’ll get the leader we, as a nation, deserve. Unless we ALL do some powerful praying!

Tom Delay left the House a decade ago.

Ted Cruz - his plate is too full, I like him where he is, and I’d like him even better in the White House.

Tom DeLay - I’d love it as a snub to the Dems. But I wonder if he is too old, and maybe too much GOPe.

Allen West - I would love it to be Allen West.

Yep, Charlie Dent. And why not?
That’s how the RINOs have gotten everything they’ve wanted- by Dem votes.
Now they can get the Speakership with Dem votes!

I’m sure the Whigs’ death went much in the same way.

Newt was neutered before. Wouldn’t it be better for us to have new, fresh forward looking leadership for the next 20 year period?

On the other hand, with Newt as Speaker, hopefully he could get Nancy to sit on the couch with him in a photo op supporting the defunding of Obamacare and Planned Parenthood.

Newt Gingrich. A man who loves the Constitution, who will defend and use Congress’s constitutional powers against a runaway Executive, and who has absolutely nothing to gain or lose.

I am also hearing rumors of a “draft Marsha Blackburn” movement.
