When you hear the media talk about the U.S. coalition-backed "moderate" forces, remember that this includes al-Qaeda. And when they say that the "moderate" forces include more secular groups, remember that, in order to fight alongside the al-Qaeda affiliate they have to give the latter their allegiance or else have their U.S.-supplied weapons taken from them.
