Last month, CNN hosted a Republican presidential primary debate. The main event was a 3-hour affair. Next week, the same network will host a Democratic presidential primary debate. But this time, the debate will be one hour shorter -- it'll span only 2 hours.

They probably can't get many takers, who's going to watch?
Trump and Cruz could sure get some cheap ad slots.
How many will be there? Hitlery, O’Malley, Sanders? Maybe Biden. Is anyone else running? They could chop it down to 1 hour and still have too much time to listen to this bunch.
Can you imagine enduring even an hour of Shrillary, Bernie and Mark blah blah blahing at each other?
Well goes to show that the Dems are in bigtime trouble, even with a Bernie Sanders around in the Dems group.
Or how many different ways can they answer the question: “Hillary, how does it feel to be so fabulous?” “Bernie, why don’t the Republicans stand up for the little guy like you?” “Hillary, when the Tea Partiers shut down the government, how will you handle their despicable behavior?”
Probably couldn’t sell the advertising.

Then there's CNN ... the debates will be boring and stupid.
How long before the audience realizes CNN's questions are softball? CNN sycophants will disguise their softballs by asking 'tough' questions that really just offer a chance for their 'teacher's pets' to explain away a criticism...
CNN's says they'll pick questions off face book - and since there's a limited number of things a human can ask people running for President, the questions chosen will reflect the biases of CNN... without the questioners having to take responsibility for asking softball stupid questions.
I'm embarrassed for CNN already and the debates are days off...
The day after we'll compare questions asked of Republicans with those asked of Democrats... and we'll compare 'tone'. It'll show HOW MUCH CNN SUCKS.
Why?
Because CNN sucks.
IMHO.....CNN & the Democrat Party will be the buffoons of the century, come next Wednesday morning!!! WHY? Because the CNN, Democrat debate will probably be one of the least viewed debates by American voters in the history of all POTUS debates!!!
I expect somewhere between 2-6 million Americans, will tune in. If they reach ten million viewers, I will eat crow on this site!!!! Now...if they reach, or exceed, the 24 million viewers, that Donald Trump brought forward to FNC & CNN....then I will jump through hoops in Times Square in NYC, so that all present can mock me!!!
I notice that CNN is not using fancy ads to promote this event. I guess the would be sponsers will not pay one cent of premuim cost for the ads they run. They are probably barking for a discounted ad rate, because they already know what a failure this gig will be!!!
I, of course, will not be watching. I suggest that all other Americans, tune out also....but that remains a personal choice!!!
Ought to invite Trump to pose the questions—that’d boost ratings!
Even though CNN is a progress liberal media outlet, I suspect this is about money, nobody is going to want to watch it.
I won’t watch it; I’ll catch any interesting clips linked here on FR, my guess is most conservatives and liberals even are not that interested.

CNN has cut it down one hour simply because it is not cost effective to run the boring debate for three hours, and advertisers want no part of being the sponsers of a known coming viewership fiasco!!!
The starch in her pantsuit can only remain crisp and hold up for a limited time!
Democrats have shorter attention spans.
Sounds about right. Not only is CNN giving them the questions in advance, they're also giving them the answers.
