A Connecticut company, which backed up Hillary Clinton‘s emails at the request of a Colorado firm, apparently surprised her aides by storing the emails on a “cloud” storage system designed to optimize data recovery.
The firm, Datto Inc., said Wednesday that it turned over the contents of its storage to the FBI on Tuesday.
A Republican Senate committee chairman, Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, also has asked the firm to provide the committee copies of any data from Clinton’s account still in its possession.
There were conflicting accounts as to whether the developments could lead to retrieval of any of Clinton’s more than 31,000 personal emails, which she said she deleted from her private server upon turning over her work-related emails to the State Department, at its request, in December 2014.
Congressional Republicans have voiced skepticism as to whether the 30,940 business emails that the Democratic presidential candidate handed over represented all of those related to her position as secretary of state. Clinton has said her lawyers carefully pruned them.
The FBI is separately investigating whether Clinton’s arrangement put classified information at risk but has yet to characterize it as a criminal inquiry. . .

What is supposed to be “decision weekend” is coming up for Biden.
What if their is a Snowden type @ the Cloud firm and grabbed all this stuff and someone does a Wiki-Leaks data dump. E-Gads that wouldn't be good for National Security as if she didn't fubar it already. But it points out the "moral hazard" she exposed the nation too.
This is all being orchestrated by the Obamunists. I know that seems conspiratorial in conjecture, but it sure is their style.

The Clintons have to have loads of information on Obama that they dared not use because it would crater the necessary level of support from the black community. If Hillary is prevented from running, I'm thinking all that oppo research just might come out. Unless they get paid off. Or have a medical emergency.

I’m an old guy and don’t understand it! But I’m not the only one. I was in the Microsoft store wondering about Office 365. The young guy helping me was talking about how storage on the cloud (”Onedrive” is what MS calls it) is encrpyted at 4 or 5 different levels. He went on and on about the various levels, digits of encryption, etc.
“Okay - but what about backups?”
“Every time you want to access a file it is backed up before you even open it. So it is always backed up.”
“Okay - but what if the server crashes or a fire or electrical outage?”
“Well - it’s on the cloud so that isn’t a worry.”
“Um - it still has to be on a server somewhere. I suppose they have it all backed up on other servers elsewhere?”
“Oh - I don’t know. I guess.”
