LOL! Polls do show he appeals to the less-educated. Missing part of your brain would qualify.

The ENQUIRER learned the list of Hillary’s lesbian lovers includes a beauty in her early 30s who has often traveled with Hillary; a popular TV and movie star; the daughter of a top government official; and a stunning model who got a career boost after allegedly sleeping with Hillary.

Hillary is particularly concerned about intimate emails to longtime aide Huma Abedin – who married U.S. Representative Anthony Weiner in a ceremony that many ridiculed as a political arrangement. Anthony later resigned over extramarital sexting scandals, after porn star Sydney Leathers said that she believed he was in an open marriage.

“I think a lot of the time when we were speaking, Huma was probably with Hillary,” she charged, at the time.

“My parents told him they weren’t authorizing him to remove the whole tumor because of the risk,” said Karly, now 27. “

I call bullshit. Surgeons don't sit down with parents and negotiate how much of a tumor they're allowed to remove. He probably saved her worthless life and I'm sorry there were complications but brain tumors don't come with guarantees.

The acid test would be to look up his license in the states where he practiced and see if any complaints were made against him.

Any doctor can get sued but if they have a habit of getting sued (and six IS a lot) the state medical board tends to get involved.

It is hard to defend a sponge left in someone’s brain. I imagine Carson’ malpractice inzurance was through the roof.

Actually it is a vivid and apt phrase for what the lawsuits report.

True, it is hard to defend it. Although, we’re assuming it was Carson who was solely to blame.

I’ve never seen a surgery performed with one person in the room. And the technician who hands the instruments to the surgeon is also responsible for taking inventory before the patient is sewn shut.

I’d say there’s two possibilities:

Carson recklessly performed a surgery, leaving the sponge inside; OR

Carson was mistakenly told, “Yes, doctor, all instruments are accounted for”.

Ultimately Carson is responsible, but he’s also a human being relying on other human beings.

Yeah, I’m not in medicine. But the top guy not only usually has to be responsible for this stuff, but he also in this case apparently legally is.

So there must be a legal expectation of a standard of responsibility and care to make sure no sponges are left in a patient’s frigging brain!

Did you read my last sentence?

I agreed with you, I think.

I just don’t think an honest mistake is reason enough to declare someone unfit. (for higher office, for being a doctor, etc.)

And no, I don’t consider myself a Carson supporter. However, this type of thing is what Democrats do. We’re better than that.

I don’t really know enough to know.

What is a high number of such suits, presuming merit? Certainly Fiorina and Trump are getting their nonpolitical careers examined.

If it is a high number and Carson were a Democrat, many here would be accusing him of being an affirmative-action hack. Which could be completely unfair.

The irony of this election cycle is that the Democrats are the party of “Old White Guys”. (and I’m including Hillary in that)

Don’t worry—the Dems aren’t looking so much like Hill’s party these days.

Read some other commentary on this last night. Six malpractice, none of them moved forward (were not prosecuted), no evidence of pleas.

He performed something like 400 surgeries a year, 30 year professional history. and NI came up with six malpractice charges?

He was removing tumors from peoples brains. And they sued because they lived, but had problems. What was their other alternative: death?
