The Arabs have been fighting each other since there have been Arabs. This never was "news."
We act as if it's just allll neewwww and we simply CAN'T beleeeeeeve it.
They have ALWAYS been crazy and violent and NOW they all get educated, if they want, so they can't be called "ignorant" any more.

They also KNOW that what they are doing is counter-productive but the Afghanis have been doing the same thing in their isolated, mountainous, water-less hell-hole since there HAVE been Afghanis.

Possibility: MAYBE these folks have a "v" gene for VIOLENCE tucked into there DNA.

The Hatfields and McCoys feuded for a long, long time. Stupid and USELESS, but they could not be told that.

Well, Cain and Abel "set the table," as the rhyme goes (that I just invented).
What CAN be expect from people? We all bear the "mark of Cain," at one time or another.

All we can do is go to the Lord and STAY with Him as much as we can. Prayer, good deeds, avoidance of sin--all GOOD things to strive for.

The Arabs have been fighting FOREVER.

I visited Damascus decades ago. It was the same back then. Tourists are almost always "untouchable" at they bring some of the only dollar$ to that region.

Basher's daddy, Hafiz, was in charge. He's just carrying on his own horrible legacy. The Iraqis are all the same in my opinion; it's embedded into their culture from the get-go, I think, and they know NO OTHER way to live.

Sadaam Hussein was no flute, was he?
