OH! By the way sorry! I forgot to thank you for making my point.

"...too many Americans are fast asleep."

And the rest of them are too busy texting.

Those you cite are about to get a big wake-up shock, as the current US regime imports the ISIS murderers they have trained and supported into the US of A as ‘Syrian refugees’.

I think our home grown killers have done a LOT more to ruin this Nation than ISIS only has wet dreams about!

CHOICE

kills more, EVERY DAY, than terrorists did on 9/11.

We ALLOW this to continue.

We Americans are not gonna be happy until the elephant in the room stampedes and tramples us all.

Excuse me; but could you pass the laudanum this way?

Marx said: "Religion is the opium of the masses." Texting has supplanted it in the 15-45 age bracket.

there are three types of people – sheep, wolves, and sheepdogs

I like to think that are also a few shepherds amongst us.

Kindly do not forget us bears:

Theodore Roosevelt: The American grizzly is a symbol of the American character: strength, intelligence, ferocity. Maybe a little blind and reckless at times... but courageous beyond all doubt. And one other trait that goes with all previous.

2nd Reporter: And that, Mr. President?

Theodore Roosevelt: Loneliness. The American grizzly lives out his life alone. Indomitable, unconquered - but always alone. He has no real allies, only enemies, but none of them as great as he.

2nd Reporter: And you feel this might be an American trait?

Theodore Roosevelt: Certainly. The world will never love us. They respect us - they might even grow to fear us. But they will never love us, for we have too much audacity! And, we're a bit blind and reckless at times too.

2nd Reporter: Are you perhaps referring to the situation in Morocco and the Panama Canal.

Theodore Roosevelt: If you say so... The American grizzly embodies the spirit of America. He should be our symbol! Not that ridiculous eagle - he's nothing more than a dandified vulture. Dandified!

--Brian Keith, as U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt circa 1904, in the 1975 film the Wind and the Lion

Today I am glad just to be able to sit up and take nourishment on my own. I let all of my students live and that is another good thing.

The carrion eaters, jackals/coyotes/hyenas that harass all three of the others even the wolves and the sheep dogs though at a respectively great distance than the sheep.

They just don’t care about anything or anyone that does not directly effect or benefit them and are capable of violence for violence sake. They take great pleasure and pride in standing at a distance and howl and yelp at all.
