More than 35,000 people have signed a petition calling for the cast of Maze Runner to apologize to the Native American people for stealing Pueblo artifacts while filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
It comes after one of the sequel's stars, Dylan O'Brien of Teen Wolf fame, jokingly admitted to pinching rocks and skulls from the Diamond Trail despite being warned not to.
His throw-away comment has sparked online outrage - and 20th Century Fox producers are 'very upset and very embarrassed' by the situation, Daily Mail Online has learned.
Now, the production team has launched an internal investigation to find out what happened, track down any stolen items, and issue a groveling apology or compensation to the site's owners, Diamond Trail director Roch Hart told Daily Mail Online.

Freep the apology. If they broke the law, prosecute them. Seize the items and replace them.

You mean the production company didn’t have to follow some cultural resource agreement before filming?

Hey the cast is entitled, after all they are ACTORS, right? So no doubt liberals and not held to the petty standards of mere lowly everyday commoners, how dare they be expected to exhibit common decency and morality? Those are just things that they tell little people to do.

Let's take them out to Moriarty and see how they do... plus throw in a couple rabid coyotes.
To: Kartographer
I always like to see who is being talked about, since I don't know this person.
To: cripplecreek
Apparently it is called
Maze Runner Since I don't watch MTV, I have never heard of it.
Based on this?
To: Tax-chick
Don’t worry...didn’t you read that the production team has started an internal investigation? I mean...that’s scary
enough! I’m sure they put their best people right on it!
What else do you want for goodness sake? /s
