Woo hoo!! Our 4th Quarter FReepathon is now underway!!

We need your continuing support to keep FR on the air.

FR is funded solely by contributions made by the liberty loving patriots who enjoy and use it.

We are beholden to no political party.

No advertisers, no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers.

This means no commercial ads. No annoying pop-ups. No ad tracking. No mail campaigns. No spam. No one trying to control us.

Definitely no government subsidies or tax breaks.

We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in the support of God, family, country, liberty!!

But we cannot exist without you.

Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the number one pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense conservative forum on the Net!!

And we’re going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given liberty!!

Please click the secure server link above or donate by mail to: Free Republic - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794

Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra ten bucks for every new monthly signed up. And we have 6 new monthlies so far this quarter.

Or send in a hundred dollars or more per quarter and join I_be_tc’s growing list of 300 Club patriots. I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in $100 per quarter, these FReepathons would complete much faster. And we have received 18 donations of $100 or more so far this quarter.

Please get your donations in early so we can wrap this baby up within 30 days.

Thank you all very much!!

God bless.

I hate trash day!

I love trash day! It always reminds me that each election is another opportunity to set more Democrats out at the curb. ~grins~

Frankie chewed up his Bayer flea/tick collar this morning. He needed a new one anyway.

“The Second Amendment to our Constitution is clear. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed upon. Period.

The Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that belongs to all law-abiding Americans. The Constitution doesn’t create that right – it ensures that the government can’t take it away. Our Founding Fathers knew, and our Supreme Court has upheld, that the Second Amendment’s purpose is to guarantee our right to defend ourselves and our families. This is about self-defense, plain and simple.

It’s been said that the Second Amendment is America’s first freedom. That’s because the Right to Keep and Bear Arms protects all our other rights. We are the only country in the world that has a Second Amendment.
Protecting that freedom is imperative."

"Can you imagine a life without deerhunting? A life without backstraps? Without the mystical flight of the Arrow? A life without campfires? Without freedom?

Without the purest forms of spine tingling, exciting, ultra-challenging sport, meat, trophy FUN that God’s miraculous creation and The American Dream offers?"

"Donald Trump’s message sings to Americans because he doesn’t play politically correct brain-dead games. He calls them like he sees them. That’s refreshing to millions of Americans who believe political correctness is a public cancer that has eroded free speech and everything else good about America...

Instead of being condemned and lampooned by the likes of Ari Fleischer and his ilk, Donald Trump should be given the Medal of Freedom for speaking his mind in such a bold, honest and straight-forward manner.”

I think it’d make it easier rather than all those “right on” and “good post” postings. Those arrows would let a poster know how received the posting was. If there’s a disagreement then they could do a reply. Ya? :)

That’s the point, it’s too easy just to click on something, rather than actively commenting on a post.

Autumn in the Smokies can be spectacular. We're blessed to live so close to them. Less than an hour and a half drive, and I can be tooling along Highway 441 with views like this.

"Nature should not be a spectator sport but rather is an honest to God hands on participatory sport/function/responsibility to connected, caring conservationists everywhere.

We who function in harmony with nature celebrate THANXGIVING everyday for we know that our lives are sustained by God's miraculous renewable creation and are more than proud to harvest His precious gifts each natural hunting season.

I am 16' closer to God everyday in my treestand and He cleanses my soul nonstop! If you don't bowhunt, you really oughtta get into it as it stimulates life like nothing else! Go slow, take your time and connect with The Great SpiritWild like never before!
Good hunting forever!

Wait a minute!
Won’t that poison Frankie?

BTW, I got the very same flea collar for Louie! I’ll put it on him after his nice bath tomorrow. It’s gotten too late to bathe him today and the weather forecast calls for another warm and sunny day tomorrow and all this week as a matter of fact. Praise God.

PetSense had those collars in stock and the manager measured his neck to make certain it would fit and that he wouldn’t outgrow it before its effectiveness expired.

Also the store had little, cheap flea combs on sale for 75 cents each so I bought five. I bought him another new bed because it was such a pretty Hunter’s green and a perfect size. This way, after I launder the uglier one (medium brown with checkered blue trim & sides), I can use it in the back of the SUV.

I also bought my spoiled brat 2 new toys which were on sale, so he’s VERY happy and playing nicely right now.

LOL’s but was thinking the up and down arrows would count the plus and minus. There’s a thing called Disqus which is on many news sites that tally votes and also total comments and total comments a person posts. Also the UK Daily Mail has something similar. Anyway, just a though.
