Jeb Bush Should Face Facts: It’s Time to Drop Out

What I mean by “rational” is that if Bush and the other RINO’s dropped out and it came down to only Trump, Carson, and Cruz.

I think voters would be a lot more rational and choose the one remaining conservative with the best record on conservative issues.

Right now in my opinion they are choosing based mostly on who can keep another RINO like Jeb from getting the nomination again.

You're assuming too much. That's not why I'm supporting Trump. Trump is a winner and a patriot. He may not be a movement conservative with decades in the trenches but he's aghast at what's become of our country and he's going to fight like hell to turn it around. He doesn't care what anyone else thinks and he's not dependent on anyone for funding. He can't be bought. That's why I'm supporting him

thinking that if they can just figure out the right insult, that'll motivate them to leave Trump and support their candidate

In my opinion fear other another Bush is what is driving much of Trumps support. If Bush dropped out now, I think people would become a little more rational about who they support.

I agree. I wrote about a month ago that we know that Trump isn’t a panacea, and we know that if elected Trump will sooner or later gore our ox. We know that we won’t be happy with Trump, and might begin to oppose his candidacy.

The bad news, for JEB, is that we will never oppose Trump if the alternative is to accept another Bush nomination.

Our position is that Trump is our ticket past the JEB candidacy. Trump may win in any event, but he will certainly beat JEB.
