He lost about 75 lbs before the start of this season..many felt that contributed to his lousy performance this year. If he was still drinking at the same rate, his body’s ability to metabolize all that alcohol was greatly altered..

"Drinking problem"? You'd think as cool and famous as he is he could served nearly anywhere. ☺

Amen.
I wish him well.

Me, too. I hope he kicks it, and comes back to pitch again. Prayers for his successful rehabilitation.

(There should be a whole lot more going on than throwing bleach, said one woman.)

While he is at it, maybe he can address his eating problem.

I hope that's just a beer belly and not Ascetic Fluid.

Perhaps putting himself into rehab freezes him on the roster??
Given that he's been in rehab for some number of days now, he would be dropped from the post season roster

I remember reading about that one - look at the pic - newspaper comments afterwards were along the lines of "Nice shoes, CC, do they come in a size 7? My wife would like a pair."

More than a few Yankees have had drinking or drug problems—Billy Martin, Steve Howe. What was Mickey Mantle’s fave part of the game? Bottom of the fifth.

So if I get stoned and drink all day long, it’s just a
Yankee tradition!

Can you imagine what his numbers would have been had he been sober?
