TODAY IN THE GRANITE STATE: Less than one week after the deadly shooting at the Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, Hillary Clinton is set to propose a series of gun control measures she would enact if elected president, ABC's LIZ KREUTZ reports. Clinton's plan, which she plans to unveil at campaign events in New Hampshire today, comes two days after the Democratic presidential candidate blasted Republicans for putting "the NRA ahead of American families," and just hours after her Democratic challenger, Martin O'Malley, called on both Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to back his plan to reduce gun violence, which he announced last month.
--WHAT CLINTON'S PLAN WOULD DO: Clinton's plan will continue calls for universal background checks and for the ban of military-style assault weapons from the streets. In addition, it will call for a crackdown on the sale of guns on the Internet and at gun shows -- something Clinton will say she will even take executive action to do. It will also push for legislation to prevent gun sales from going through without completed background checks (dubbed the "Charleston Loophole"), and for legislation to prohibit domestic abusers and stalkers from buying and possessing guns. And it will call for repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, in order to make sure dealers and manufacturers are held accountable for negligence when crimes are committed with products they've sold....

I wonder how she’d feel about this weekends bi-annual Beast Feast and Gun Raffle at our local Moose Lodge.
Usually 15 to 20 different guns raffled off or won on tip boards. I won a pretty nice SKS last year on a $10 card draw.

Hillary stated that “if anything else was causing the deaths of 30K people every year, the people would be rising up to have it eradicated. Some facts no one is “rising up” to stop.
Nearly 500K deaths per year are directly attributed to cigarettes (including 2nd hand smoke). But it’s legal.
Nearly 5K Americans are killed by unlicensed, illegal aliens each year (how many rapes murders can we add to that number?)
100K Americans die each year from prescription drugs be it accidental overdose or deadly side effects.
Hillary? Anything to say on that?

In a sane world, part of the gun-buying calculus would be whether a specific model was eligible for free Prime shipping on Amazon.

You could be right, of course, but that’s what EVERYBODY was saying 8 years ago: “No human in the history of the world, not even Jesus, can compete with Hillary because she has those FBI files. She is as inevitable as the sun rise.” And then, a 12 year old punk, a foreigner, who had been in the senate since noon, stomped her guts in. She is NOT inevitable.
Apparently President Hillary expects to inherit Obama’s magic Executive Order dictator’s wand, because if Congress won’t change the law to meet her desires, she’s gonna wave that magic wand and change the law herself; after all, most people don’t realize there’s a tiny bit of fine print in the U.S. Constitution that gives U.S. Presidents the right to make their own laws whenever Congress won’t cooperate.
In my neighborhood we call folks that take stuff that isn’t theirs, thieves, and we shoot em.
I hope everyone taking a poll on her nonsensical ramblings says, “I'd rather not be a sitting duck for thugs, thieves, or a corrupt government.”
What about all the people who are killed by drunk drivers every year?
Where are all the calls to ban the sale and possession of beer, wine, and distilled liquors? Where are the calls to close the wineries, breweries, and facilities that make distilled liquors?
What about the 100,000+ patients who die every year because of mistakes made by doctors? Should we ban doctors?
