Russian Air Force Strikes ISIS in Al-Raqqa and East Aleppo: Terrorists Suffer Heavy Casualties

Over the last 48 hours, the Russian Air Force has targeted the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) with relentless airstrikes above the provincial capital of the Al-Raqqa Governorate and the terrorist group’s stronghold inside the Deir Hafer Plains in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside.

On Sunday morning, the Russian Air Force struck ISIS again with a flurry of airstrikes above the Tabaqa Military Airport and the Tabaqa National Hospital, destroying another weapons depot belonging to the terrorist located inside the storage facility that is situated to the north of the military barracks.

Meanwhile, to the east of the Al-Raqqa Governorate, the Russian Air Force propelled the Syrian Arab Army’s “Cheetah Forces” into the village of ‘Ayn Sabil near the Kuweries Military Airport after repeated airstrikes along the Deir Hafer Highway; specifically, the Thermal Plant that has been turned into an ISIS base.

Fierce firefights are still ongoing between the Syrian Armed Forces and ISIS at the village of ‘Ayn Sabil; this battle has recently intensified with the arrival of the Syrian Arab Army’s Cheetah Forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF) to the Al-Safeera District in east Aleppo.

According to a military source in the Aleppo Governorate, the Russian airstrikes have killed over 75 terrorists in the last 48 hours, as they continue this massive aerial campaign in northern Syria.

The terrorist group has been immobile in northern Syria as of late; this is a direct result of the Russian Air Force’s prevalent airstrikes that are hitting any ISIS convoy making their way across the vast desert highways around the country.

You mean you don’t have to allow the convoy of white pickups with ISIS flags to drive across open desert from Aleppo to Mosul?

YEP. he same freepers who claimed Russia is not attacking ISIS and many of us on here had bought the Putin lies.

Seems those few freepers are the establishment types who can’t think for themselves and have to be told off the media and the establishment what to think and argue.

Nail on head. There are a couple on here who would rather see ISIS get bigger , ignore the fairy in the rainbow house, and attack freepers who support this kind of waging war on ISIS.

“McCain is the head of the military industrial complex wing. There is no problem he can’t solve with a good bombing.”

Other than veterans’ care.

I have decided I will start worrying about the Russians and Putin immediately after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voices concern.

If Putin was dropping bombs on NYC, Sacramento, or DC, I’m afraid my give-a-crap meter would be stuck in the green. Middle-America and the Southeast is my country.

Surgical strikes breed guerrilla movements. The only way to prevent this is by involving the civilian population to the point they won’t harbor and hide soldiers and fighters. This is why our modern wars last so much longer than wars prior to Vietnam.

The problem with Russia, historically, is that when they are done taking out our enemies they turn to taking out our friends.

I remember growing up (born near the end of WW2) kids were taught through the comic book media to hate Jap’s and Nazis. It was very effective. Much less so for Korea...

I believe in my heart that ISIS are Obama’s PROXY.

Benghazi was the tip of an iceberg to actually form this army and supply them, but somehow went awry.

I have never trusted Putin, but he is doing the only sensible thing in dealing with these evil “people”.

I put “people” in sarcastic quotes for obvious reasons.

“In the meantime, Ovomit is lecturing the world about morality and climate change... “

And gun control- while he lets the enemy in.

ISIS was partially created by the US as part of the so called Arab Spring. It got away from the CIA and started hitting other people, but that wasn't a huge deal. Remember, the State has little issue with other people killing Christians.

Ulnlike the US leadership, the Russians care a great deal about women and children - their women and children.

"8 more Sukhoi Su-34 ‘Fullback’ have arrived in Latakia overnight."

This the result of the F-22 deployment and all this talk about no fly zones.

Those SU023's are not there to fight an insurgency.
