In the full "Meet the Press" interview Donald Trump talks Syria, Russia and when he would consider getting out of the race. Trump's tells chuck todd his view on if Gadhafi and Hussein were still in power and if Assad were stronger, the Middle East would be more stable. Donald Trump: 'Guns or No Guns, It Doesn't Matter' Donald Trump responds to President Obama's comments about the mass shooting in Oregon and points the finger at the problem of mental health. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, when asked if he believes the Middle East would be better today if Moammar Gadhafi of Libya and Saddam Hussein of Iraq were still in power, responded, "It's not even a contest." He related the situations in both of those countries with what is currently happening in Syria and seemed to endorse a stronger President Bashar Assad, even while admitting that he is "probably a bad guy." "You can make the case, if you look at Libya, look at what we did there — it's a mess — if you look at Saddam Hussein with Iraq, look what we did there — it's a mess — it's [Syria] going to be same thing," the real estate mogul said. I have not seen this yet. He was also on "This Week" today and that will replay on MSNBC at 2pm ET.

"and when he would consider getting out of the race."

The Dems are desperate for Trump to quit. Why was this brought up? For bogus headlines to push a wishful narrative?

Has the media ever hounded a front-runner when/if he is getting out of the race? I remember that the Romney people started that with Fred Thompson, trying to stop his momemtum.

Todd keeps interrupting Trump and acting like his solutions are off the wall. Also Todd is being pushy asking more questions while Trump is trying to answer the last question.

You are welcome! It sure was a fast paced interview and I thought it was interesting that Todd said Trump loses to Bernie Sanders and Jeb Bush doesn’t. lol! Trump said he hasn’t started hitting Sanders yet. Rush Limbaugh said when the DNC starts going after Sanders he won’t know what hit him.

I’m glad he’s going on Todd for sparring type interviews. Shrinks public perception of Hillary and the others.

Trump is using him as Trumps tool.

The media is consistent about one thing. There are no solutions and everything is impossible. Trump is a can do man. Todd is a depressing hack who has no idea about solving problems. No wonder people want Trump.

Todd mistates ranking of US in mass killings per capita. It’s number 7, behind none other than Switzerland! Sorry I can’t post chart which has appeared recently on FR.

George Stephanopolous quoted the Tax Foundation as not liking the Trump tax plan. Trump said : “What do they know?” Here is the background on that foundation:

Per capita Eastern Europe has a similar rate of mass shootings. Some of those countries are higher. That’s what Trump needs to say when Chuck Todd starts in with his no other country has mass shootings BS. This was stated by John Lott on the Mark Levin show.
