Obama Goes Beyond Mere Gun Control, Hints at Confiscation
Breitbart ^ | 10/03/2015 | AWR Hawkins

When President Obama spoke in reaction to the heinous October 1 attack on Umpqua Community College, he went beyond his usual calls for more gun control and suggested instead that America consider following the path blazed by Australia and Great Britain.

In the mid-1990s Australia and Great Britain both instituted what were virtually complete bans on firearm possession.

Obama referenced the bans thus:

We know that other countries, in response to one mass shooting, have been able to craft laws that almost eliminate mass shootings.  Friends of ours, allies of ours — Great Britain, Australia, countries like ours.  So we know there are ways to prevent it.

That’s the meanest Colt Walker I’ve ever seen!

Most powerful handgun in the World from 1847 until the .357 in the 1930s.

“Vlad should go down in history as the man who started the battle that saved the world from Obama.”

Interesting thought

Doubt it, but nobama sure likes to stir shite.

Both he and they, know any confiscation attempt would go rather poorly, for them.

It’s weird, you know.

Australia outright bans weapons in the 1900’s and America’s rate of death of deaths by guns plummets.

Which you wouldn’t think possible, some twenty years later, as the population increased from some 250 million to over 300 million, you would think the correllary would be a spike in deaths by guns, as relates to a percentage of the population.

But no, a 30% increase of the population actually resulted in a decrease of deaths by guns some 30% of the inverse.

Weird but, that’s what happened...

Most will hand them over willingly.

I do not know where you live, but sure as hell here in Texas not many will.

John Lot was on Levin yesterday and he said that Australia has ‘re-enabled’ private gun ownership to pretty much the same level as before they ban.

We have one glaring example in recent history of random door to door confiscation of unregistered guns - New Orleans PD in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Google the vids, it is truly shocking as in “not in my America!!” fashion.

Now, New Orleans is a uniquely corrupt American city. The Katrina raids were against white homes. That’s all that needs to be known.

Ordinary citizens may have to develop a tolerance for cutting angry flesh.

” the number of privately owned firearms in America went from 192 million in 1994 to 310 million privately owned firearms in 2009. Subsequently, the “firearm-related murder and non-negligent homicide” rate fell from 6.6 per 100,000 in 1993 to 3.6 per 100,000 in 2000 and finally to 3.2 per 100,000 in 2011.”

Facts be damned, full tyranny ahead. All hail President for life Obeyme!

Confiscation?

Bring it motherfu**er.

I think you’ll find very few will fight. 1 - 3% at best.

I think you are wrong and the percentage that will fight will be much higher. However, even if you are right 1% of 80 million gun owners is 800,000 and 3% is 2,400,000. The bad guys will be wearing uniforms and it will not be the uniform of the United States Army. It makes choice of target easy. The bad guys will not even know who the good guys are. That is a snipers paradise. I like those odds.

Be interesting to see him try something. Let me know. I’ll go to the store and get some Orville Redenbacher.

And that old boy holding it knew how to use it.

It would be fun to see a gun grabber approach him.
