Hillary Clinton Invites Ted Cruz to Gay-Pride Parade {How Should Cruz Respond?]
National Review ^ | 10/03/2015 | by BRENDAN BORDELON

Hillary Clinton ridiculed her Republican opponents during a Saturday speech before America’s preeminent gay-rights organization, poking fun at Ben Carson’s views on gay marriage and inviting Senator Ted Cruz (R., Texas) to a gay-pride parade.

“Ted Cruz slammed a political opponent for marching in a pride parade. He clearly has no idea what he’s missing,” she told board members and staff of the D.C.-based Human Rights Campaign. “Pride parades are so much fun! I was marching in them when I was First Lady. You should join us sometimes, senator. Come on!”

Clinton spoke in a crowded ballroom at D.C.’s ritzy Mayflower hotel, where gay-rights activists hooted and hollered as she ran through the laundry list of this year’s victories. “It felt like all of America was dancing in the streets this June,” she said, referencing the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down state laws forbidding gay marriage. “And that’s because of you . . . you helped change a lot of minds, including mine. And I personally am very grateful for that.”

Like President Obama, Hillary Clinton’s position on gay marriage “evolved” over the years. She opposed it as First Lady, during her time in the Senate, and as secretary of state. But with public opinion shifting rapidly, she came out in favor of the policy in 2013.

Despite the Supreme Court win, Clinton warned the delegates that “marriage equality” remained under threat. “The next president could get three Supreme Court appointments,” she said. “We could lose the Supreme Court.”

Clinton singled out a couple of other GOP candidates for criticism in addition to Cruz. Though not mentioning Mike Huckabee by name, she excoriated the former Arkansas governor for “celebrating a county clerk who is breaking the law” — a reference to Rowan County, Ky., clerk Kim Davis’s refusal to provide marriage licenses for gay couples — drawing hisses from the audience.

She also made fun of Ben Carson’s views on homosexuality. “Ben Carson says marriage equality caused the fall of the Roman Empire,” she deadpanned, shrugging as the audience laughed and applauded.

Clinton’s Saturday morning speech before gay-rights activists checks an important box for her campaign. The Democratic presidential front-runner had been asked to give the keynote address at the group’s annual dinner later this evening, but refused the invite in order to appear on Saturday Night Live.

#share#That speech will now be delivered by Vice President Joe Biden, who has flirted with challenging Clinton for the Democratic nomination for months. Biden came out for gay marriage in 2012 — one year before Hillary Clinton, and before even President Obama announced his support. Biden’s public endorsement of gay marriage is widely thought to have pushed President Obama to also back the policy a few weeks later.

Hillary is such a self centered child. Asking Cruz to attend the parade just for the purpose of putting him on the spot.

She’s trash. I hope Cruz doesn’t bother responding.

Decline for the same reason you’d decline a Mazola party or a satanist wedding.

Besides, you’d be celebrating something that doesn’t exist. There is no such thing as gay “pride.” Arrogance maybe. Justification yeah. Indulgence for sure. But who could be proud of being a bun-buggering deviant?

When Trump said no to the Hispanic function, did he ask what his supporters wanted him to do? NO....

Is Cruz that shallow to have to ask his base something he should or shouldn’t do? Shouldn’t he already know what his base wants?

Dear Hillary,

We’re all sinners. But some of us aren’t eager to celebrate it. But don’t let that spoil your fun.

Here are my top three suggestions:

1) She invited me, really? I check my emails daily, and I haven’t seen that email from her ... but perhaps it went to spam because it came from her personal email account rather than an official government one.

2) If I did go, the real question is which would be more uncomfortable for me - being too close to the NAMBLA float, or being too close to Hillary?

3) What a nice gesture, which I’m sure is being done simply in the spirit of bi-partisanship and civility, with no hidden agenda at all. I’ll just have to check my calendar, as I get so many invitations like this from prominent Democrats all the time who always seem to have such nice things to say about me, and enjoy the pleasure of my company.

Several Cardinals of the Catholic Church

Louis Farrakhan

Muhammad Ali

Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Church of America Demetrios

This is a common Democrat tactic. She’s trying to equate homosexuality with a parade. It’s not. Parades are not homosexual behavior.

Homosexuality is, by definition, a behavior.

If I walk in a parade, I am not a homosexual. I am someone in a parade.

If I place my penis in another male’s anal cabal, then I am a homosexual.

Homosexual behavior, by both males and females, reduces that person’s lifespan.

Why would we wish a reduced lifespan on anyone? Why would we celebrate people willingly reducing their lifespan? It would be like going to a parade of people who are going to commit suicide.

Nope. They are free to do that in this country, but I will not celebrate people shortening their lives.

Plus, the fullness of life is found in a man marrying a woman and those two wanting to project their love for that person into the future by having a baby.

A male ejaculating into the anal canal of another male projects nothing but semen.

If asked why I didn’t attend something like this, I would say the following.

I intend to defend the rights of U. S. Citizens across the board.

I do not intend to single segments of our society out for special treatment.

I’m not going to do it based on race, gender, or sexual preference.

As president it will be my job to treat members of our society fairly, and I intend to do that for everyone.

““It felt like all of America was dancing in the streets this June,” she said, referencing the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down state laws forbidding gay marriage.”

I don’t know if you people knew/saw the gays parade in the New York City street when the Supreme Court decision came down. An extended family member we thought had gone “gay”, was there with a lady “friend”.

Their attire/clothes were unbelievable, one of them wearing a pink tutu (that one is 50 years old), both had rainbow colors all over their bodies, rainbow colored hair, strings of rainbow colored beads around their neck, hugging and dancing, taking picture after picture of themselves and the decorated rainbow colors on the car. These pictures were put on the family member’s My Space page.

Various family and extended family members were shocked, really shocked, to see that display on her page. I would bet other people were also shocked to find their family members at that parade and/or posting rainbow colors on their My Space pages. That seems to be the standard, put rainbow colors on their My Space page to announce they are part of the gay group.

The last time we had communication with that extended family member, her husband had moved out of their house and divorce will happen.

Did any of you find out people you know now have rainbow colors on their page or you were made aware, in another way after that court decision, that person is a gay person?

“Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

(New Testament, Romans 1:26,27)
