On Thursday morning, police say 26-year-old Chris Harper Mercer shot and killed at least nine people on the Umpqua Community College (UCC) campus before officers shot and killed him.A new report claims someone appearing to be Mercer wrote longingly of the attention given to Vester Lee Flanagan after he shot a television reporter and cameraman on air in Virginia. Mercer wounded at least seven people in addition to those he killed on the gun free UCC campus, law enforcement says.

I suspect this deranged Brit was so inspired by the insane hatred spewed by Piers Morgan toward Americans that he decided to carry out Morgan’s implicit desire to inflict punishment on the US for its 2nd Amendment.

I just spoke with someone this morning who said this shooter was on Facebook which showed him in full muslim regalia with a full muslim beard and a middle eastern name. I have not been able to find it on line. I cannot confirm.

With 4 dead and 50 wounded in Chicago last weekend, that might be 13 mass shootings right there. They should have stricter gun laws in Chicago.
I’m just glad that drugs are illegal - just think how much worse the violence would be if we added drugs to the mix.
