Megan Kelly did a segment on Friday with Chris Stirewalt and Howard Kurtz where they blasted an article by the NY Time on Melania Trump. The consensus was that the article was condescending and would have never been done on a democrat. They also agreed that Melania had done nothing to deserve such treatment.

I’m terribly cynical, I admit it, but Megyn plays a little chess here. She defends Melania against the NYT, for the very thing which she perceives that Trump did to her, by mischaracterizing her and getting personal.
Her ample defense against the NYT for their unjust treatment of his wife, Melania, naturally indebts Trump to Megyn, for having done so. He had to be grateful for the gesture that Megan made. Will he ever trust her? I think not.

Melania is surely quite braced for trouble. Certainly, Trump is braced. Baring most of your bosom and bod in photos, for all the globe to see, even so for a nice check, is NOT, in all circles, going to be considered a virtue, or even suitable for a First Lady.
The assessment of Trump for allowing the wife’s famous bosom show at public events will be affected somewhat, perhaps rightfully so, but in this era it probably won’t be much or last. Modesty is so passe. /s

That is why Trump's negatives are the highest of any candidate and that is why Trump cannot win a national election and why he should not be nominated. In order for Trump to be right, the whole world has to be wrong.
Megan Kelly is obviously a feminist who would define that typically unfortunate characteristic as according females the right to their sexuality and the right to conduct their affairs free of snarkiness about their physical appearance or their sexual history. Kelly's defense of Trump's wife is perfectly in keeping with that credo. Indeed, Kelly's attack of Trump's unconscionable statements about females in the first debate, quoting Trump's own words to him, was also perfectly in keeping with that credo.
Trump supporters stand on their heads to call Megan Kelly opportunistic when she is consistent.
Trump supporters are the ones who are hypocrites posting somewhat cheesecake pictures of Megan Kelly in order to degrade her while at the same time defending cheesecake pictures of Mrs. Trump who seeks the heretofore (at least prior to the present occupant) demure office of first lady. Megan Kelly demands that both herself and Trump are entitled to their lives and both are entitled to make decisions about what part of our body will be exposed.
I have enough libertarian in me to argue that that is a perfectly conservative posture.
It is the Trump supporters who are the hypocrites, not Megan Kelly.

Since you bring it up, she’s got a masculine face. Imagine how she would look without the makeup and hairstyle. I wouldn’t normally bring it up, but since she cashes in on her looks I think it’s fair game.
Megyn and the two guys “defended” Melania against the stories that, basically, she’s a bimbo. Their take on it was that the stories weren’t “nice”. (Their attitude was that she might be a bimbo, but she’s a nice one.) If they were sincere about defending her they’d have mentioned that Melania is an architect and that she’s fluent in four — maybe five — languages. But... no... they avoided giving her that much credit, thereby diminishing her accomplishments.
LOL, and I guess I missed the interview by Howard Stern of Trump’s wife. You know the one where she talked about her boobs and husbands dick size.....oh wait....
