A male student killed multiple people at a shooting today at a community college in Roseburg, Oregon, authorities said.
The shooter is now dead, police said. The shooter's identity has not been publicly released, though Oregon Gov. Kate Brown announced that he was 20 years old.
Gov. Brown’s spokeswoman Kristen Grainger confirmed that the shooter was a student at the school.
Grainger also said that the number of fatalities and injuries totaled 20 people, but would not specify how many were dead and how many were injured. Neither the sheriff's office nor the governor's office or the state police would specify the number of fatalities, though earlier today State Police Lt. Bill Fugate who spoke to ABC affiliate KATU that at least seven people were killed.
"It is believed there is only one shooter who is no longer a threat," the Oregon state police said in a statement. "There is no current threat to the community."

Two things are in common with all of these shootings. All have taken place in gun free zones, all of the perpetrators were taking or had recently taken behavior modification drugs like Prozac or Ritalin.

They took all of the students and loaded them onto buses to some central location. Do you think they wanted to tell all of them to not talk to the Media before letting them be picked up by their parents?

Been watching Fox News and Greta Van Whatsis who kept asking inane questions. If the shooter was anything other than white they’ll pull it back. In those other shootings they ID the shooter right away as soon as they knew, like that shooting at the recruiting center. They even know where he lived and he also was a student there according to reports so the BS about not knowing who or what he was is stupid.

Students with carry permits are allowed to do so at this community college. However, the age requirement for a carry permit is 21. That cuts down on the amount of students 21 yrs old in class at a junior college in the early afternoon. Instructors carrying in class? In liberal land Oregon? Probably not.
