He could have at least thrown in the former governor of New York, who is doing just as well as Lynsie Gram.

I don’t know, but I just have a little soft spot for New Yorkers. And “Governor of New York” just sounds muscular, what with TR and Nelson Rockefeller and Al Smith (who went on to help create the Empire State Building) and Charles Evan Hughes and Aver2ll Harriamann and Thomas Dewey (who almost defeated Truman.....lol).

I have a soft spot for South Carolina, also. But not for this homo from there now running for Prez.

I would think that Mitt would have more appropriately included Pataki over Gram.....

Romney should know who the viable candidates are, because he was one, wasn’t he? Or, at least that is what the powers that be told us. Sorry, Mitt, go sit down and be quiet.

Every time. I have fond memories of the great things President Dole accomplished and then President McCain built on.. But it was President Romney that really showed the wonders of what moderates could accomplish.

Other than Democrat-Owned reporters, who’s asking your opinion, Mitt? We conservatives will think for ourselves this time. We haven’t yet reached the point where we have to ‘settle’ for another fake.

Mr. Romney said the rise of what he called “insurgent” candidates is a symbol of voters’ frustration with nothing getting done in Washington. The former one-term Massachusetts governor proposed changing the Senate’s filibuster rule, saying that when the Senate is controlled by a different party than the president, the filibuster should go away.

He said that elevates issues and lets voters see Congress working, and leaves the president a check on bills he doesn’t like.

“Let him veto them if he feels they’re not appropriate,” Mr. Romney said.

Right!

You know, from a NY Republican, you can’t expect anything. So if you get something conservative, you just have to rejoice.

But a sitting Senator from South Carolina? We have every right to expect conservatism. But Linda is just pathetic....

Mr. Romney, a two-time candidate who was the party’s standard-bearer in 2012, ticked off New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and businesswoman Carly Fiorina as viable options.

NO...NO...a thousand times NO!!
