"You talking about Syria?"

Isaiah 17 concerns both events of the past and events near the end of days. Can the will of the fascist political classes of the nations save Damascus and protect the regime?

It looks possible that the falling regime in Syria won’t be joining the party of people of the uttermost parts of the north, Persia, other nations and many of the descendants of Japeth around the world. Syria as it was may well be done.

Better to focus on the locations of those peoples at the time of the writing, than to attempt tracing them through history. Also focus on specifically named nations. Migrations, interminglings, etc. don’t do justice to the identification. That should lead to focusing primarily on Iran, Turkey, Syria, Chechnya, Iraq. Islam north of Israel for the most part.

A nation is comprised of its people and descendants. There were also Magog, Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, Togarmah and the uttermost parts of the north. That’s why all of the nations have it coming.

For those who are interested, the following will be a start with keywords and cites for further study.

FSA is a faux army headquartered in Turkish coffee shops where they meet to collect CIA paychecks and arrange pickups of CIA delivered weapons, which are then abandoned in battle, sold or given to ISIS

Unfortunately, if we complain that the US is selling/giving weapons to murderous terrorists, some people here are likely to denounce us as gun-grabbing liberals.

the US hasn’t yet been able to find and deploy more than 5 FSA “moderates”

I've seen some "moderate" twitter pages and they look every bit as lunatic as the head-chopping ones.

Except the Russians are not attacking ISIS. All the pro-Russian propaganda isn’t going to change that. Just like Assad, they don’t attack ISIS. He needs ISIS to validate his role or as the raisons d’être for his regime to survive.

Islamic extremism in Syria goes under many more names than ISIS
And the imported “ opposition” that the US trained abroad and armed from secret gun running from Libya iand Turkey s not “ good guys” any reasonable person would support

Many of them are not even Syrian

And yet we are being fed all these lies that there is a “ moderate opposition”

Go back and do your own research about the chemical weapon attacks in 2013 that are being used to prop up our lying administrations Syrian adventures

Even the UN - which was used - found plenty of evidence that the chemical weapons were used by “ the opposition” to incite or justify western involvement in the so- called civil war. It even gets worse with evidence the “ good guys” we are “ supportng” kidnapped hundreds of villagers whose children were gassed and posed just when a UN team just happened to be in Syria

And btw, civil war is also a misnomer when people are being attacked by terrorists that are not Syrian, trained and armed from abroad

It is about radical Sunni Islamist vs secularism

If the people knew more facts we might all be praying for Assad, a flawed man but the best choice of all the choices now available

If Assad goes, Qatar will build gas pipeline directly to Turkey, undermining #Gazprom according to @GazetaRu So that’s what it’s all about.
