Let me clarify: if their unions are decertified, they become at-will. O.K?

Russian forces don't play dress up Barbie in the barracks

I can show you horrible, horrific pictures of Russian soldiers doing worse than just playing dress up. Homosexual hang rape and forced prostitution in the Russian army is normal. Nor are Russian soldiers really all that great. The Russkies only know how to do propaganda, how to bomb and shoot indiscriminately, and how to commit terrorist attacks against civilians, but otherwise are not the most effective force in the world.

Great screen name. Reminds me of a great video game that still stands up today...Destroy All Humans.

As far as dress-up Barbie? It's a joke son, a funny ha-ha, a pun son. That said; I hope the Russians unload on these head-choppers with furious anger and kill as many as possible.

Unfortunately all free nations/semi free devolve to dictators eventually.

I encourage you to carefully read The Civil Service Reform Act of 1978, with particular emphasis on the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA). Its law that allows federal employees to join unions. This should disabuse you of any notions that their unions can be easily “decertified”.

I agree with you that this would be a good thing to do. But the realities are that it would be exceedingly difficult to accomplish in our political environment. Like most things, its a lot easier said than done.

Exactly, and that largesse is greatly facilitated by an irresponsible government that can borrow and print mountains of money at will. Not unlike people who shop where they can get the best deal, voters shop for politicians who dole out the most largesse, oblivious to the consequences.

How did Reagan terminate 11k+ air traffic controllers in ‘81? There must be a way to overcome The Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.

The air traffic controllers kind of terminated themselves in that they walked off the job. What was Regan to do? He had to replace them.

Agencies can be downsized but the process is long and difficult. I once worked for a government chartered corporation that, by law, had to shut down on a date certain. Even then it took years to deal with all the associated personnel, financial, and logistical issues. Its very complicated.
