That’s what I said.
The members will vote for Trump.
The leaders will send the members’ political fund money to the Dem.
Agree....we have to gloss over their derogatory terms. They just cannot help their lefties selves.
The unions know that they have NO power if there are NO jobs to haggle over. Trump wants to bring jobs back to America. Why wouldn’t union guys love him?
Oops, sorry. I read your comment wrong. We agree the rank and file will vote for Trump, against their leaders’ wishes. Go Trump!
Their leaders don't? Are you sure? Would they insist Trump oppose right to work? I think they're probably just playing games but if they're serious, do we really want them on our side anymore than we want those pedo Afgan warlords?
3-ways?
The Clintons are so disgusting.
Oh, it’s just financial stuff.
Individual union members may support Trump but any official meeting is nothing but seeking a deal of some sort and there is nothing worth trading for a deal with those bottom feeders.
“The Teamsters endorsed Reagan in 1980 and 1984.”
I think Trump has studied the Reagan Coalition and is piecing it together again + the current issues Americans across every division care about.
True.
Agreed. Back when America was great!
A good question for the debate, ‘Mrs. Clinton, your husband is responsible for signing into law NAFTA. It has hurt unions, and cost union jobs, what are you going to do to correct this?’
Getting the Carl Icahn endorsement is yuge to start. This means that if Trump gets the nomination the money will pile in by the hundreds of millions at the RNC. If the RNC needs a billion to elect Trump they will get it no problem.
Now the teamsters are doing this. Not sure if they are serious or throttling Hillary to give them what they want. With union membership collapsing perhaps the rank and file are rebelling and the teamsters realize they might be in big trouble. Trump understands unions very well. If he gets elected and the teamsters do not support im he may turn on them.
The teamsters understand brute strength and they see the kind of balls Trump has. They respect that and are thinking twice about crossing him.
I'm reading that they may not like Hillary's support for TPP and her wanting to end the Keystone pipeline forever.

An invigorated economy keeps the money flowing and with Hillary it will be as flat as a pancake like under pResident Obama. Trump does understand Unions being a builder and all.
Are those trumpets I hear?
Is it raining blood?
The AFL-CIO is much opposed to open borders and NAFTA. They have collected all the statistics on job impact, and statistics on how many jobs have been killed by NAFTA.
Why do we need an election?
You haven’t picked up on Trump’s use of hyperbole yet?
Furthermore, we can bet our bippies that the very fact the Teamster brass is even CONTEMPLATING a meeting with Trump shows it's getting lots and lots of pressure from its members below.....pressure that's working right up the grapevines into their leadership's ears !
Virtually every working-man type I meet or tradesman who comes into my house is not only for Trump...but ENTHUSIASTICALLY SO!
How do I know?
I ASK!

They also endorsed Nixon in 1972 and George H.W. Bush in 1988. If they do end up endorsing Trump should he win the GOP nomination, he would likely win the Presidency in 2016. Every time they did endorse the GOP candidate for President, that President won decisively.
Their endorsement would be huge for the GOP candidate. It would put Ohio back in the GOP column, more than likely put Pennsylvannia in the GOP column and make New Jersey a 50/50 at worst. Probably make Wisconsin and Iowa lean GOP as well and could even make Illinois much closer.
