Repeating the failures of the past is no way to save our futures.. if the lessons have not been learned by now.. then the whole thing is a waste of time.. and will collapse if its own internal rot.

McCarthy shouldn't even be considered for this position. It's ridiculous that Boehner lasted as long as he did, and it's even stupider to vote for the next in line establishment guy as speaker. He will talk a lot tougher and might get a couple of small things done that Boehner wouldn't have just to manipulate conservatives into thinking he's something he's not. In the end he's still pushing the same establishment agenda that Boehner was while pretending to fight. McCarthy will pretend to fight for us in a different way, but his end game will still be to lose. The establishment wouldn't vote for a “crazy” conservative speaker and we shouldn't accept an establishment RINO. They can compromise on a speaker, but it shouldn't be an establishment RINO.

If we can't stop this and take over the republican party soon we don't have a chance to save the country. We should already have those positions. The TEA party movement has the power to elect it's candidates, but for every success story there are those who lied and used the movement to get elected. We need a much more organized effort to recruit and vet candidates in districts across the country early on. It's not easy finding good candidates in ever districts, but they exist and need to be found and persuaded to run. If we had gotten what we were voting for, the party and country, would look a lot different now. We haven't had the results expected at this point in the movement, and one of the main reasons is that we still end up with bad choices in the general election.

I don't know how to organize the kind of effort we need, but I hope we figure something out. There are a lot of people who have a vote and money to support a good candidate, but there aren't nearly enough good candidates. If we can't do better then we have so far we will still lose, and it comes down to getting better candidates in every the races. We also have to defeat the establishment and nominate someone like Trump or Cruz this time around or we might as well give up on ever taking the party back and having any chance to change things. It doesn't matter if they don't play by the rules if we can't do anything about it.
