Far right making hay from Europe's migrant crisis (must read comments!)

Paris (AFP) - The far right in Europe is making capital from the hundreds of thousands of migrants pushing into the continent and hopes to turn fears it has helped to fuel of an "invasion" into electoral success.

"Their attitude is basically that the people coming in are neither refugees nor migrants, but invaders," said Jean-Yves Camus, one of France's leading experts on the far right.

The leader of France's National Front (FN), Marine Le Pen, claims that the migrants are "illegal immigrants who are over-demanding and arrogant" and that three-quarters are not refugees at all, but people who just want to claim benefits.

Europe's biggest migrant crisis since World War II is "what the FN has been warning about for years", she says.

Le Pen's blunt solution to the stream of people arriving at Europe's borders every day is to "warm them up, feed them and then send them back where they came from", she told Paris-based foreign correspondents this week.

“warm them up, feed them and then send them back where they came from”,

I don’t see a problem with that. As long as safe transportation is provided what’s the issue? Does the Mideast not have shelters and charities same as what they’d find in Europe? Are there no safe havens or is every single country there too unsafe to stay in? Surely coordination can take place in order to facilitate this.

You nailed it, Jean Yves.

Yeah, the comments are quite interesting.

Here is the beginning of a particularly interesting one:

“I’d like to consider myself a moderate liberal. I am a compassionate human being, ready to help anyone in difficulty. Although I am a Christian, I have respect for all other religions, I firmly believe that all religions have a common origin, that there is no such thing as “good” or “bad” religion, and I think that anyone having a certain degree of fear over some supernatural power will think twice before doing harm.... >>> although I’m not quite familiar with what Islam teaches<<< .”

The part I highlighted with angle brackets shows the problem we face: “tolerant” liberals who don’t have a clue that islam is a false religion that came straight from hell.

Yet even “moderate liberal Katie”, in the rest of her comment, gets that what the Syrian refugees are doing in Europe is very UN-good.

If 100,00 Russian troops lined up at your border fence and suddenly surged across and flooded into you country what would you call that? Why is this any different? You don’t know who these people are, you don’t know why the happened to mass into a huge army and all show up at your borders at the same time. You do not know what each person intention is now that they have arrived in your country.......

The people are not as malleable as their leaders would like to believe.

Many of us, who were previously moderate, have become much more extreme on our disagreement with our ruling elites who want to bring in all these people. We have more common sense and can spot the difficulties that will arise down the road and destroy our countries as we know it. Liberals in America and Europe are constantly gleefully spouting data showing that whites will be the minority in twenty or so years. No one would ever make the claim that the Japanese or Chinese should be the minority in their countries or that the Africans should be the minority in their countries or that Hispanics should be the minority in Mexico, Central America, or South America. Nope, it's only considered good when it's whites facing extinction. For this and other reasons, people are fighting back and rethinking their views. What else could be expected? It's become a matter of survival. "

I thought this was another good comment from Yahoo 'Hawki'

What is his political stance, far left? It is left unsaid.

Europe's biggest migrant crisis since World War II is "what the FN has been warning about for years", she says.

Margaret Sanger told Western (white) Europe to cease breeding for 10 years in the wake of WWII (1947 - "NO MORE BABIES!")

The far left has sought to kill off the West for a very long time.

Why are they COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED™® for you? I've been noticing the increasingly conservative opinions put on local and national news agencies and news reporting websites in response to various news articles published by the LSM. It has grown to the point where comments get deleted or completely shut off so no one can respond to them. Flame wars erupt, people get banned, and the like. Good to see you are paying attention!

Here's another interesting comment, from a US reader:

Since we are talking about immigration I will mention my immigration story here. Last week my wife became a US citizen along with 1200 other people. Her citizenship ceremony was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. After the newly minted citizens were done with their ceremony they were ushered to an exit where there was a number of booths waiting for them with signs reading "Democrats Register to Vote Here". Inside the convention center they were selling Hillary teddy bears at the only booth that was selling items inside. Keep in mind this was a ceremony being put on by our government. The far - left is ruthless. Even going as far as trying to shape the voting habits of newly minted citizens at their citizenship ceremony. And the government allowed this. Classless and ruthless by the far - left and our government especially in light of recent findings/articles about how many illegal and legal immigrants are on the Democrat inspired government dole.

‘Immigrant crisis’? It’s a criminal illegal invader crisis.

Just as the Koran dictates Muslims to dictates- take over countries, kill all unbelievers so that the entire world is for Allah, Islam.

I saw an hour long program on the FN last week where LePen and other leaders of the FN were interviewed, so this is straight from their own words:

- subsidize industry; if need be, nationalize it
- high minimum wages for French workers
- high social expenditures and high taxes for “the rich”
- free healthcare
- etc. etc.

Just because they don’t like the muzzies doesn’t make them something to cheer on.

They are highly nationalistic and highly socialist. Now what does that add up to?

The Saudis have a tent city for Hajj that has space, bathrooms and AC for 3 million.
Let them take in the refugees. And those refugees can replace all the foreign drivers, maids, etc in the country.

The Europeans didn’t learn anything from the religious wars of the past and the Nazi regime, and they’re just itching to do it all again.

According to Wikipedia, he was born in 1958 to a Catholic family but later converted to Judaism. It does not say whether he is related to the writer Albert Camus (so at any rate not a close relative).
