If we really eant to solve the problem, we need to identify and thwart those who are corrupting our elected officials.

What is corrupting them is money, power, influence and the corrosive environment that is Washington D.C.

Something tends to happen to people when they get into that big government echo chamber where virtually everyone works for the government in some fashion or another.

RNC Head-Fake.....they finally get that they are at risk....but still think that they can be ‘too clever by half’ by “throwing McConnell under the bus, thereby throwing red meat to the crazies...”.......Since they disrespect us so much, they actually think that we will not notice their Head Fake.

He announced under cover of the Pope’s visit for distraction. Some shenanigans going on of course; those politicians would strangle on anything that is honest.

We just have to make sure they get replaced by much better, now worse people.

He should be next. We need radical right wing politicians in power.

Gotta wonder if things can get better if we made the members of congress work from home.

As the 6-Million Dollar Man intro would say, “We have the technology to rebuild him.”

Congressmemmbers can telecommute. They can vote from home, surrounded not by k-street pukes and satan’s other minions, but by their constituents.

It would possibly make it too expensive for lobbyists and other corruptors to ‘touch’ our elected officials.

They recognize everyone is angry at republicans and that Trumps lead in the polls is that anger realized. By offering the public some scalps, maybe they hope some of that anger will subside and Trumps numbers will drop.

Ha….more than a few scalps…….tar, feathers and a rail come to mind.

it would be interesting if Hillarie’s e- mails exposed what I think is a rampant blackmail of certain republicans.

I have thought of that idea for about a decade. It will never happen precisely because it makes graft and influence more difficult.

But it is a good idea.

He did a spectacular speech at Oklahoma state fair. He’s been moving his position slowly. Each speech he adds a little more substance, and a little less braggadocio, it’s all starting to resonate now.

Walker was my #1, Cruz my #2, not voting was #3. Trump has seduced me with plain talk and the ability to express my frustration. Now Trump is my #1, Cruz #2.

I can’t vote for Ben Carson. I like him, but I think he’s either too lighthearted and will be totally turned around and manipulated by others or that he’s a Meglamaniac and will start WWIII. Can’t decide between the two.

I’m sure McConnell is shaking in his shell. I’ll believe it when I see it. Hope it’s soon

No, there is no problem here. Think of him as a lame duck. He can’t whip anything up. The presumptive replace will make sure things go slow and non controversial, and whatever votes he thought he had for some of these bills? They’ve all moved to the gray zone.

Kirk won't be there come 2017.
