Yeah, they may be getting a glimmer. I think Trump and Carson aside, ehat gets their attention is the per cent of Republicans polled that say the leadership has failed. Something like 72%. That’s not just the “crazies” talking..

Yep, the basic idea is to have disorder so Dem/RINO bills can be pushed through while individuals avoid blame. And I’m sure there’s much more afoot too.

They recognize everyone is angry at republicans and that Trumps lead in the polls is that anger realized. By offering the public some scalps, maybe they hope some of that anger will subside and Trumps numbers will drop.
I'd love to see his duplicitous butt tossed but he's got the voters of TX totally hornswaggled into thinking he's conservative. It would take a very strong candidate to oust him.

I agree. Something’s afoot, and we won’t know what it is until they weasel into whatever they’re up to. I can grant you this, it’s not for the benefit of us peons, or they wouldn’t have created this situation in the first place.

Trump is providing a service in raising the issues he has. I simply don't think he has any intention of following through with his promises. You know, kinda like you'd expect of a guy competing in the hotel, golf course, and construction business, where they hire thousands of illegals. Yeah, he'll build that wall all right, and then 'bring back the good ones,' permanently.

I agree, but I would wager that much of the corruption relates right back to stupid moves and honey traps set when they entered the Beltway. Other, less obvious but profitable means may have been used to compromise the unwary while lining their pockets or 'treating' then to 'benefits' off the books which are questionable or illegal.
It isn't always what they did or didn't do, it is what the Media can make it look like.
Either way, there is sufficient leverage going on on The Hill to undercut any Conservative momentum so far. We just have to take a page out of the enemy's playbook and never give up.
