Carly Fiorina Really Was That Bad
NY Times ^ | 9/25/15 | Steven Rattner

Posted on 09/26/2015 1:58:06 PM PDT by jimbo123

HER silver tongue honed by decades in corporate marketing, Carly Fiorina has used two debates, and a steely determination on the campaign trail, to climb near the top of the polls for the Republican nomination.

But Americans should pause on her biggest professional credential for our highest office: a short, disastrous stint atop one of America’s iconic technology companies, Hewlett-Packard.

The clearest measure of her performance — and the report card preferred by Wall Street — is H.P.’s stock price, which dropped by 52 percent during her tenure of almost six years.

Yes, Mrs. Fiorina served during the worst fall in technology shares in history. But she managed to underperform her key competitors; IBM’s shares declined by 27.5 percent and Dell’s fell by 3 percent.

The most ruinous aspect of Mrs. Fiorina’s tenure was her decision to acquire another “old tech” hardware company, Compaq Computer Corporation, instead of moving more heavily into services and software, as IBM did.

I don’t have time to read it. Can you give us the gist of it?

Only a lib like Rattner (who should be in jail) can call a woman like this “silver-tongued.” More like a rusty razor or the eternal fingers across the blackboard.

You are a good reporter. Something rare these days.
I think Carly’s heavy past baggage is going to keep her grounded. I like much about her, but, many high tech folks are still upset, years later by her executive decisions.
This is an unusual election season so far, so anything, plus or minus for Carly is not out of the question.

If the NYT says so, it must be true.

Check out Rattner’s involvement with Alan Hevasi and the pay-to-play scandal in NYC a few years ago. He's a lot more than what you've posted.

MSNBC employs a plagiarist and fabulist,a felon except for-the-grace-of-the-Democratic-Party, and a preacher who advocated incinerating at least two stores owned by non-blacks. Quite a record, MSNBC!

I don’t know. Do you have the answer? Were other Blue-Chip, Tech stocks also in free-fall? I have very little in equities then and now.

Questions for the NYT:
What is Doekbama the Muslim’s record?
His transcripts?
His real birth certificate?
His business experience?
You didn’t give a s**t then.
Why now?

Wow! Looks like the knives are out for Mrs. Ed.

I suspect what’s now going on is that the media realizes that if Trump is stuck at 25-30 percent (which may or may not be the case, but it does appear to the be the case at this time), then having a dozen other elves only works to his advantage.

...so now it’s time to start clearing the field. Mrs. Ed first, then, probably Carson - then others.
