Donald Trump earned a rare rebuke from a conservative audience on Friday after criticizing Sen. Marco Rubio, who as emerged as his prime sparring partner in recent days.
Speaking to a social conservative crowd at the Values Voters Summit, where Rubio spoke earlier in the day, Trump was met with a wave of boos after calling his Republican rival a “clown” in his speech.

Yesterday Rubio said Trump was uninformed and could only speak in 10 sec. sound bites. Thus, Trump returned fire.
“Sure, we like a fighter, but not a constant name caller”
The Democrats aren’t going to feel any sympathy, neither are the GOPE nor the press (but I repeat myself) and pull punches. They have not.
So I suggest people on our side start acting like we are at war with these people, and throw everything at them. Like what gold star are we going to get by letting up?
Any political junkie, such as the majority of us on here are, knows about Rubio and the gang of 8. I want to think that is why they were booing. Trump got a standing ovation after the speech, so, I’m certain they weren’t booing him.

Return fire is fair. We need guys who will stand up for themselves. I have no problem with it.
But you know what? It's time for Trump to drop the personal insults and stick to the issues and shaking things up. That's what he did after that point, and he got nothing but cheers.
I saw that. I picked the MSNBC story because it has the entire Trump speech and people can hear the full context. The first source I clicked on didn’t. MSNBC was the second source I checked. I didn’t check any others after that.
Looks like Fox may be abandoning Jeb and getting in the tank for someone else that can be bought and paid for-RUBIO. Watch how O’Reilly comes out guns blazing to defend Rubio over Debbie Wasserman’s comments.
