Former Gov. Jeb Bush (R) pledged in South Carolina Thursday evening that he will earn victory in the Souths first presidential primary next year.
Im going to win South Carolina, take it to the bank, Bush told reporters, according to The Charleston Post and Courier. His boast came before a speech addressing the East Cooper Republican Womens group in Mount Pleasant.
Bush is making the Palmetto State a key focus of his 2016 Oval Office bid as he struggles for traction in the first voting states. He ranks sixth out of 15 candidates in Iowa with 5.3 percent and fifth in New Hampshire with 7.4 percent voter support, per the most recent RealClearPolitics mean of surveys.

I don’t know SC, but wasnt that last race flooded with a ton of unelectable candidates diluting Graham’s low showing to quite below 50%
It’s part of the reason no insider GOP presidential candidate will be elected any time soon. Though I don’t know how many are aware or of graham had a hand in getting all of those candidates in there
You just look at him speaking (you can’t listen - it’s usually some praise of a liberal or denunciation of a conservative- and go ‘whoa. How did he get elected
Voter registration lists are updated between the two primaries, so if you voted in the first, it’ll show in the updated lists for the second, for whichever district you vote in.
Well, we do know that the ‘rats want Jeb! to be the nominee as he would be easy for ANY ‘rat candidate to beat.
“Bush admitted on Thursday that he has wrestled with the death penalty because of his conflicting views on compassion and justice.”
There is NOTHING about this empty suit which isn’t compromised, wobbling and feeble.
More like “take it to bankruptcy” when he brings all of the illegals in to take American jobs!
What they don’t see is that regardless how the primaries go, the people are not going to allow the party to nominate an unpopular, liberal candidate.
Not again
Why? Is the fix in?
If I remember, the pos in the Whitehouse was sure he’d be re-elected as well.
Pure fraud on display.
Yeah, they could easily be talked into supporting him for the nomination by any means possible. We already saw what Thad Cochran got from the GOPe.
Jeb, This IS NOT your destiny............... ... Jeb, This IS NOT your destiny ...
Hmmmm...For the Bush Family,
................................ ...the light at the end of the tunnel
"we're going to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York.... And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan, and then we're going to Washington, D.C., to take back the White House!"
When Kerry was “down for the count” he said “I will be the nominee”. The same for McCain. Now Jeb is saying it. It’s rigged and these little peons just can’t keep it to themselves. They’re way too proud to be a part of the elite.
The ones who weren’t asleep did.
Read my lips, I will win South Carolina.
I need to know what bank Bush is putting all his chips into so I can pull any assets out of it...
Not if Linda Grahamnesty has anything to say about it...unless there’s a nice parting gift.
LOL
Leave it to FReepers...
I pretty sure he was the only one that was booed
I want the name of the bank....I see divestment in my future.
I doubt that Jeb will be among the top three in SC.
