We solved our deer problem by giving up on the invasive japanese knotweed that is growing around the area of the property where the deer were coming into the yard, and “letting” other areas of the woods grow in with brush. I don’t know where it came from, but it is incredibly dense and grows from to 9 to 13 feet tall.

We may have to nuke that area.
