Pope Francis on Thursday urged the U.S. Congress to reject a "mindset of hostility" on immigration and to recognize people who wish to move to the United States as people who are trying to improve their lives and those of their families.

Many of us expect the Church to shrink, but we hope and pray that it will be the better for that.
That said, I don’t think I would necessarily characterize obscurity as a cesspool.

The Catholic Church has forgotten the cardinal rule...Politics & Religion do not mix!!! In a poll taken this week 70% of the Americn public could care less about the Pope being here, sucking up to America destroyer, POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama. When the Pope departs the USA for his flight back to Rome....nothing will have changed here in the USA, and the Catholic church has only hurt itself, once again!!!
