They are small in number but they are aligned with a larger group, the Democrats. The Democrats use them to

1. Attack Christianity
2. Support population control
3. cycle government funds from AIDS, education and other funding back into their campaign pockets.

As opposed to self-righteous, which is how I read your comment?

Mirage licenses, very good.

The state is filthy and corrupt and they should stay away from issuing marriage licenses. Marriage is a religious instituion created by God.

I would think that a lot of Christians would think twice about obtaining a marriage license now that the state has so defiled marriage. Just get married in a little church, that’s it.

But on Monday, lawyers for the American Civil Liberties Union wrote that the validity of the altered licenses is “questionable at best,” and that the new licenses bring “humiliation and stigma” to the gay couples who receive them.

It needs to bring stigma on them because they are sick perverts the sort of which we used to lock up in Insane Asylums.

"Stigma" for sick perverts is what a Normal society does.

I have done a great deal of reading lately about the experiences of adult children who were raised by homosexuals.

If you want an even greater awareness, do a search on "homosexual serial killers". You will be shocked to discover how many serial killers were homosexual. (Most of them.)

There is a lot of mental health issues in that group that go way beyond their "sex" illness.

Wow, so now we are going to have Federal marriage certificates. Me thinks the judge knows he is in the middle of the lake on very thin ice. In other words, he is usurping a uniquely state jurisdictional area governing marriage. Can churches be far behind? This is the epitome of Federal government tyranny intruding into our most personal affairs.

No, not unless they are under 18. They can also get the license from any other county clerk’s office. Therefore, the claim that Kim Davis was preventing them from getting licenses “for months” is a false argument they have been using.

They asked U.S. District Judge David Bunning to order Davis' office to reissue the licenses. If Davis interferes, the lawyers say Bunning should place her office in a receivership for the purposes of issuing marriage licenses.

This is ridiculous - he has no jurisdiction or authority as a Federal judge to do this with a state office regarding state functions. He has no jurisdiction to even hear this case. He should know this on his own, but not even her own attorneys have the competency to even be making this argument. This is beyond embarrassing.

OK Thanks. I know some states had a county of issue requirement law. Mine is such. Kinda silly considering it's a state license. With the county in question I kinda doubted outside of a judge they would find very many willing to officiate.

Maybe they should try their luck with a preacher in Bell or Harlan Co LOL. The ones with holding boxes if you know what I mean :>}

Judge Bunning believes altered marriage licenses are in fact marriage licenses since he is calling them that.

This does not surprise me in the least. Once you start following the research trail about that lifestyle, it leads you into some really dark places. Homosexuality is a symptom of something much deeper. Declassifying it as a mental illness is one of the worst things would could have done for the health of our society.

Homosexuality is a symptom of something much deeper. Declassifying it as a mental illness is one of the worst things would could have done for the health of our society.

I do not Know if you are aware, but the American Psychiatric Society did not remove it from the list of mental disorders voluntarily. The members were subjected to screaming hordes of queers at their meetings, constant phone harassment and threats at their home and work, and Liberal pressure from Academia.

The queers got that the same way they get everything. Showing up en masse, threatening violence, and screaming like drama queens.

I have been speculating that the only reason there were sufficient numbers of them available to harass the APA was because of the changes to involuntary confinement laws in the 1960s. Prior to that era, when they made their presences known, homosexuals were generally locked up in Asylums.

It has been asserted that the changes to mental health and mental health facilities were the consequence of the book "One flew over the cuckoo's nest". The book shocked the nation regarding abusive care and involuntarily confinement of "harmless nuts".

The later 1969 activism of the Homosexual movement was probably the result of so many of them being let out, and others no longer afraid to out themselves.

Just speculation, of course.

All heterosexual and homosexual couples are getting the exact same licenses? Then, they have no case. The judge told them the risk of getting an invalid license was theirs? Can Kim Davis sue ACLU for extreme stupidity?

What these hate-filled, malicious totalitarians are demonstrating, better than anyone else possibly could, is what sodomy does to the human soul.

If the Governor says they are valid, do they even have standing? They aren’t damaged, I don’t see how.
