I do agree with what they’re doing with the banks. Whether they fund them or nationalize them, it doesn’t matter, but you have to keep the banks going.

Trump is a big government acolyte.

I am thoroughly enjoying this primary campaign, knowing the candidate I am supporting has topped EVERY poll since he declared. I am sure you would also be having as much fun as I am having if your candidate topped all the polls. Do you agree?

Maybe, but that still doesn't excuse the absurd mental gymnastics you are going through because you're too insecure to admit your guy isn't perfect. And frankly, I am enjoying a lot about this campaign - and Trump is the reason for it - but one thing I am not enjoying is seeing once good conservatives chuck away huge parts of their ideology and their standards in hero worship.

Now that's a reasonable statement - I disagree with some of it - but it's reasonable. This is unlike your other statement, which was indeed ideological and mental and emotional gymnastics in an attempt to soft peddle what was a horrible lapse in judgment on Trump's part.
