Was not Joe Paterno crucified for doing the same thing? (Reporting alleged child abuse to his immediate superiors). As I recall everyone insisted that Joe Paterno should have taken direct action against the abuser. I agreed with that assessment. Reporting abuse to an authority you know will not take any action is the same as condoning the abuse. This is disgraceful and heads should roll over forcing our military to condone child rape. We are becoming an immoral people.
