Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) discussed his disagreements with Pope Francis’ criticisms of global capitalism. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio reacted to Rubio’s remarks and suggested he should go back and reread Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.

I keep saying it. Senator Rubio got played by the Gang of Eight. He has been a reliable conservative since then, and he's magnificent at articulating the conservative message.
I like that he never blamed others for that involvement.

Nowhere in the Sermon on the Mount does it say one group of officials must force people to pay for others in need.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio believes that the government knows best, not God. He apparently believes that he is supposed to lord over the hard working tax paying citizens of NYC so he has the money to help those he believes are in need.

DeBlasio will have blood in the streets soon because he is unwilling to prosecute criminals. That fact alone will return NYC to the bad old days before Giuliani. Of course, the press will blame the ham-strung police.

That’s rich! An admitted Communist demanding adherence to government mandates using the Bible’s text.
The word of God never mentions using the government to care for those less fortunate. It requires each individually to do God’s work.

Every time I hear idiots like DeBlasio talk about the Bible it is blasphemy. Remember when Slick Willie would carry the oversized Bible to church for a photo op. What a sham and shame on DeBlasio, a commie to preach how we should think.
