It’s incredible to us, because we’re “outside the bubble,” with an entirely different worldview. Some of it is upbringing, and some of it is choice: black people brought up in the bubble can choose to step out (Jesse Lee Peterson) while those brought up outside can choose to step in.
It seems crazy ... but being committed to an irrational and self-defeating belief system is, perhaps, the norm in human history, rather than the exception.
I understand, but how many children would you bury before you concede it isn’t working? I actually do blame some white people for this: Those politicians and unions (and members) that have returned us to the days where it is once again illegal to teach a black person to read.

Once there is no learning going on, drop the pay to that of daycare workers; the teachers will either find creative ways to teach or refund us our money. It is a criminal racket unlike any other (though urban cops look like they’re about to give public school teachers a run for their money in trying to achieve as little as possible for the most cost).

Democrats, black and white, benefit from black illiteracy (and innumeracy). Money floods into inner-city school districts, and most of it is dissipated in patronage and graft, while what actually reaches the classroom tends to be unproductive.
If each classroom had a homeschooling mother with a copy of Alpha-Phonics, some math worksheets, and three U.S. Marines to keep discipline, the students would learn. There’s a lot of flack about the lower intelligence of black people, but that’s irrelevant at the level of the 3 Rs. Black children in the immediate post-slavery era learned, and they could learn today if they were disciplined and taught.

Cops are less than eager to risk their lives for blacks because if they do they may get attacked for arresting the killers. Why risk your life twice for those who won’t respect or even acknowledge the act.
Oh, I know it can be done...but a lot of people make a lot of money with the mess just as it is today.. Like young Abraham Lincoln, young blacks used to learn with little resources (in segregated schools, nonetheless). Whites feared economic competition from them because they could do many of the same jobs; we’re way past that point now. Even unskilled whites could rarely be replaced by blacks today.

When my husband and I visited India some 25 years ago, we went to where the Farsis lived. The Farsis were thrown out of Persia and went to India. India accepts any faith, no matter what.

I saw the "towers of silence" were the dead bodies of people are put. The top of the tower is open for the carrion birds who eat the corpses. That way, the human bodies "go back" to nature.
It was a grisly reminder of some human behavior, sanctioned heartily by their culture and tradition, that still appalls me.
As we drove down the street we SAW the crossed-eyed people, a definite demonstration of in-breeding. One DIDN'T see the heart problems that also come with inbreeding.
