No debating it; GOP event at CU-Boulder to have select audience

'It's an extremely limited, culled crowd'

Abandon hope, all ye holding out for a seat at the next Republican presidential candidate debate.

The Oct. 28 event in Boulder, titled "Your Money, Your Vote" and televised by CNBC, will be held in the 11,000-seat Coors Events Center on the University of Colorado campus, but the audience will be capped at about 1,000, and nearly all those chairs are already spoken for.

You can attend if the Politboro allows you to attend.

Watch your step, comrade.

And be sure to bring your anti-Trump credentials or you will not be admitted.

If it’s going to be televised by CNBC, I guess we won’t get to see the 10,000 empty seats panned.

IOW, just like ObaMao runs events. However, they can put more butts in seats because they have more sycophants.

With a venue that big the only candidate with enough supporters to fill it would be Donald. They can’t afford it too be 90% Trump fans.

I’ve been to Boulder ONCE. That was to see Charlton Heston speak. Three people had to be removed for disrupting his speech, and there was quite a time counter protesting the protesters outside both before and after the event.

Boulder, Colorado is one of the major American communist and socialist enclaves.

It goes to show how the GOP still does not get it. They have liberal media doing the debates. They go to liberal cities to do the debates. Then they keep trying to push establishment figures on to the voters like Bush and FioRINO

Like holding a tent revival at the Gates of Hell. Which, now that I consider it, ain’t a bad idea.

Since this “event” will take place in Boulder with CU hosting and the Colorado Republican party as a kind of organizing committee, I will be surprised if they invite Donald Trump. Or Ted Cruz for that matter.

Carl Rove worked out a deal with RNC chair, Rinse Fleabait. To get in the debate you have to use the secret phrase, “Look at that face”. Then you get a prime seat.

After the last version of the "beat up" from 47 Ronin, where every warrior beats the target with a club, Trump should absolutely find a way to not dodge this, but one-up it with a "debate" of his own by buying time in the 1st half hour.

That said, I'm sure the RNC has some poison pill in the paperwork saying if you don't do their debates they can officially remove you from the list of candidates.

“Is nbc going to pack the crowd with rabid liberal cardcarrying dems?”

Yes, just your typical Democrat voters in the Republican primaries.

"Boulder, Colorado is one of the major American communist and socialist enclaves."

I went out to Seattle last week....It's the most God awful place I think I've ever been.....

For a country boy from southern Ohio, it was a real eye opening experience...

Don't get me wrong....I've been all over this country of ours, but Seattle, man....that was something else..!

I can think of no place worse in CO to hold a GOP debate. Why wasn’t it held in CO Spgs? There’s absolutely nothing to be gained by holding a CNBC-sponsored debate @ CU-Boulder. Between the exteme left campus and the pot smoke, it will degenerate into a circus, regardless of the attempts to stage manage.
