According to a new CNN poll, almost one third of Americans now believe President Barack Obama is a Muslim.
The poll found 39% of respondents thought Obama Protestant/Christian, 29% thought him a Muslim, 11% believed him to be non-religious, 4% thought him a Catholic, 2% thought him a Mormon, 1% thought him Jewish, 1% believed him something else, and 14% had no opinion.
College graduates appeared to be the group most inclined to believe Obama’s protestations that he is a Christian; 63% took Obama at his word. Only 28% of those without a college degree believed Obama to be telling the truth about his faith. Predictably, 61% of Democrats believed Obama, compared to 32% of independents and a paltry 28% of Republicans.

Let’s play “How to make statistics say what you want, by CNN”
First, here’s the headline: Nearly 1 in 3 Americans Believe Obama is a Muslim (Only 39% believe he’s a Christian).
Second, let’s do some quick math: “Nearly 1 in 3” is somewhere near 33%. So “Nearly 33% of Americans believe...”
Third, the word “Nearly” is used to guide the reader into thinking “total”. Think about the terms “Nearly complete”, “Nearly ready” etc...they implies “almost full”. So in this context, the word “Nearly” is meant to make the reader see the term “1 in 3” and think large, full.
Fourth the use of “39%”. Everyone knows that 39% is a small fraction of the whole. It stands on its own. No one looks at 39% and thinks “a lot”
So the headline author, by way of using “nearly 1 in 3” to make people think “a lot” and “39%” to make people think “a small fraction” tortures the statistics into saying what he wants you to think: They want you to walk away thinking “A large portion of people believe Obama’s a muslim and a small number of people think he’s Christian” when the statistics say the opposite.
Oh, CNN, you sly dogs. Orwell taught us how to read you. We’re onto your language games.

Let’s take this guy at his word, just for the sake of argument, that he is actually a Christian.
OK, fine. So then the question becomes, “If he WAS Moslem, what would he do differently? “ The answer is: “Nothing. “
So, Moslem or not, he might as well be one from the standpoint of policy. What’s that say?
Those are exactly my thoughts on the matter. Everything he has done that touches a religious issue has been to the advantage of Islam.

Poll findings like these would really be damaging if he tried to run for a third term but six and 3/4ths years into two terms, not so much.
Yes, the leftists infiltrators who can’t defeat true Christianity in a full frontal assualt, so they use the leftist modus operandi of infiltration to pick off the weak/rotten/lukewarm “Christians” to try to destroy it from within. Of course, as God’s Word has promised, Biblical/true Christianity will never be defeated.

I believe he is a self worshiping atheist. He loves Muslims. Hates Christians. He claims to be Christian only for political gain and manipulation of the masses. The evidence says otherwise.

I agree. I have never, ever heard a Christian “accidentally” identify themselves as a Muslim, Hindu, etc. True religious beliefs are too intrinsic for such a thing to happen.
